Nice property! The rooms are comfy.
Be warned!!!!! There is a train that comes every 40 minutes. This is why they give you ear plugs on the TV.
The hotel is nice and they have a buffet downstairs. The only thing is the layout of the hotel.
If you get a high number room you will be waking forever!
Plenty of parking and the rooms are super clean.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The most inconvenient experience booking a hotel I have EVER had the rep that reserved the room repeated everything I said multiple times as if she wasn't listening or couldn't understand me. She was more interested in enrolling me in Hilton honors than taking care of a customer that just cares about a bed to sleep on for the night! Only a FEW HOURS LATER, I find out that I cannot attend a meeting in town so I call back to cancel my reservation. They tell me they cannot refund or stop charges of the booking since its their "policy", so they transfer me to a supervisor. That person then tries to tell me the same thing, until I lose my cool and state that would be the worst customer service I have ever seen if they refused to accommodate. Suddenly she says they will go ahead and do it like they were trying to "talk me into" keeping the money because of some bogus policy. Just terrible.
Room and rate was a great price, hotel and room is extremely clean well put together. Actually surprised by the decor and how comfortable the room is. Would have given 5 stars ,but the Front desk agent "LEE"; was disrespectful regarding me asking how long it will take for the engineering staff to come to my room to check on the air conditioning unit. I informed her I am still waiting due to it being the second phone call I made down to establish someone to come to my room for help. Room was about 75 degrees hot air constantly blowing out heat upon arrival. LEE rudely placed me on hold while I was still talking to her on the phone in regards to getting a true accurate time of arrival from the engineering staff. Anyway. He came and had to replace the entire unit by the way. I'm just glad we still made our dinner reservation. Not a bad hotel if you don't mind the beautiful cancer healing smell of Herb (marijuana).
The hotel offers a very upscale dining menu, including exotic elk burgers and other culinary treats. They have a good selection of local and domestic draft beers on tap. The lobby has a huge gas fireplace with comfy seating in the area. They offer shuttle service to the nearby mall, dining and rental car locations. The rooms are well kept, but ask for a courtyard room to avoid the sounds of the train whistle crossing located a few blocks away. The front desk staff is very nice, they offer you bottle water and the world famous doubletree cookies upon check in and if you are a Diamond Club member you’ll be complimented with a breakfast buffet.
Thermostat didn't work properly, a/c was on when we got there and it was freezing, then after a few hours it was boiling in the room because the thermostat wouldn't turn off. There was no inside pool and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor. Breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was hard to navigate to and from our room. Maps or more signs would have been helpful to navigate the layout.
I was only at one room for a couple hours for a short event. It was really good. The food was phenomenal and the staff was very polite. They constantly cleaned and provided snacks for everyone there and it was a very enjoyable time. I would definitely book a stay there if I was doing anything in Denver
Went for Darts tournament only. Did not stay the night, although there were $99 rooms available to participants from out of town. The banquet facilities we were in were adequate. Lots if room. Reasonably priced drinks and food (although the menu was very limited.
Nice remodel, but check the alarm clock even if you don't plan to use it. It may be set for 4:45 a.m. By the previous guest.
Edit: Made the mistake of booking here a second time. The doorknob didn't work correctly. I had to go back down to the front desk to get help getting into my room. Some kind of motor noise shook the walls at random intervals, keeping me from getting any sleep. Even though they just remodeled, there seems to be a serious lack of convenient power outlets in the room, one on the desk and none anywhere near the bed. I won't be back.
My husband and I stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary trip to Denver. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! The customer service is top notch and everything is new and updated. My only two complaints: 1) The breakfast buffet is pretty pricy $32 for the two of us, but the food is good. 2) We checked in on Friday and left Sunday morning, and our room wasn't cleaned once during our entire stay. I never said anything to management during our stay, but I thought it was strange. Kevin at the front desk is awesome and they have fresh cookies upon arrival! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again and get breakfast at McDonalds next time :)
Really good hotel, if you take advantage of the deals on the Hilton website. We got a Weekender( could be called something else ?) Package that brought our price down to around Super 8 prices.
Courteous service, comfortable rooms. Pretty decent distance from stuff. Only negative is the light rail that honks it's horn at all hours, but it isn't really that bad. I'd give 4.5 stars overall if I could.
Excellent hotel. Very clean rooms and quick room service. The food was great had the elk burger and loved it. The breakfast buffet was alright nothing too fancy. Overall it was a great stay.
Staff was great and helpful. The warm cookies are a nice touch. Unfortunately, location has a train running nearby - I did hear it while in the parking lot, but not in my room. Staff was very forthcoming about this when I checked in and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible.
We have had the most pleasant stay at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!! WHOLE staff is very welcoming. The pool is super clean and the rooms have been remodeled and are very beautiful. Internet is a plus. There is also a shuttle. Their customer service is amazing.
Hope you like a train waking you countless times during the night, F this place F anyone who says otherwise. What type of person would give this place 5 stars that isn't working for Hilton. I think you people need to stay at a real hotel sometime before you start handing 5 stars out to trash places. Wow they did a cheap remodel welcome to nearly every hotel/motel ever. Hotels like this' main purpose for most adults is to sleep, and that won't happen here.
The team here are amazing, especially Lindsey who helped us tremendously. Our tour company incorrectly said we were booked here, and the Hilton went above and beyond to solve the issue, allowing us to borrow their phones and also consulting with the company themselves. They allowed us to have lunch in the cafe, and provided delicious cookies. In the end it turns out we are not booked here but we sure wish we were! Thank you for the amazing service guys
