This hotel was suggested by the hockey tournament we played at. They need to stop suggesting or including them when they are hosting tournaments. The hotel itself is not that great but if you're going to accommodate teams you need to be ready for that. There's nowhere for the kids to relax as a group or for the adults. The staff spends more time telling everyone what they can't do than trying to help with the issue. I went down to talk about getting a conference room but they had a line of people arguing with them. I've stayed at hotels that get it. And this one does not get it. Don't book here for team events.
Note I didn't pay the cost, but the rooms were amazing. Food wasn't the best, but plenty of options near by. If you want a place by UB, or a.place to stay to see Niagara falls, can recommend.
I'm an Honors guest and stay at Hilton properties 3-4 nights a year. Check in was fine, we received cookies right away. But never in my life have I been awakened by housekeeping at 845 on a Sunday morning. There was no "do not disturb" signs to affix to the door nor did I see any on other guests' rooms. The door was locked which I presumed informed housekeeping from the outside not to come in. Alternatively, someone was trying to break in but I can't say.
Friendly staff who were courteous and helpful. We had booked what we thought was a two-bedroom suite online, but it wasn’t what we thought: two separate bedrooms. The staff were more than happy to place us in rooms next to each other at a fair rate. Highly recommend this hotel!
Stayed here for a couple of nights on business. Location is a bit spare area with several other hotels and a couple of restaurants. The room was fine, clean, but bathroom was a bit small. They have complimentary wine and beer for guests in the evening a couple of nights a week.
Great location and area overall. The staff is very friendly and rooms were clean.
We chose this hotel because we were looking for something inexpensive for our trip to Niagara Falls. And--for sure--we got that.
But it's got some oddities that can't be ignored. The rooms we were in had no closets. Everything was very tight. And there was no chair in the room.
It was also further from the falls than we wanted it to be. I mean, we knew exactly how far it was when we booked, but living with that distance was more than we expected.
On the other hand, our kids enjoyed the pool and the staff was pleasant.
I can not say enough positive things about this hotel! Amazing staff! I lost my phone and they went above and beyond to help remedy the situation in any way they could! I recommend this hotel to anyone in the Buffalo area!
Very professional staff. They were very accommodating during our stay and provided extra shampoo and soap when asked. The rooms were modern and well designed. The distance to Niagara Falls wasn't bad (25 minutes), and there are some great restaurants nearby.
Fantastic hotel. I have to have a great breakfast and it saves so much time if the hotel has one. The food was great and so was the coffee which was an added bonus.
The hotel is a 30 minute easy drive to Niagara Falls. Also Close to the 2 wings restaurants you should check out, Anchor Bar and Duffys. The hotel has Hilton Honors only floors. The cookie upon arrival is always great. The pool is large and heated.
Hotel rooms were nice and clean. Had been updated but has the lovely popcorn ceiling. Staff was very friendly. Nice comfortable place to stay as you would expect from a DoubleTree
Rooms were great and clean. Parking was easy. Great location in terms of distance to the mall and other restaurants. About 20 minutes from keybank arena. Staff was awesome and accommodating. Only negative is the pillows on the bed were terrible. Great experience and would definitely go back
My boyfriend and I have had two great experiences with this hotel so far. Today, we were greeted by Monique, and we both agreed that she could not have been any friendlier! Besides, who can argue with free warm cookies?? Advice we've been given that has worked out: stay on one of the top floors for noise control.
Thanks for being so cute and so sweet Monique!
