I had a gulf front room on the top floor. Nice hotel with great Tiki bar. Served good food fast for sit down and take out. Hotel does not offer a hot tub but should.
Went for the rooftop bar. It was so fun, bags and other yard games were available. Made the experience that much more fun. Can't beat the view either
The food here is really good at the mangos. They have decent prices as well. We had crab cakes, calamari, a grouper sandwich and tilapia. I would recommend them to everyone. Typically we don't eat everything on our plates, they were clean.
Wonderful breakfast to be had here outdoor seating provides a great soundtrack of waves while enjoying a meal or drink. The hotel is just steps from the water. We loved our visit.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Julie at the front desk and David at breakfast were especially awesome! So clean, with comfy beds. The only complaint would be no microwave.
Wonderful staff and the accommodations are excellent as well. The clientele is what you would expect on the west coast of the east side of the country. Nice, relaxed, and generally friendly. A wonderful location and atmosphere.
It's a good hotel and staff after front desk great.
The rooms are good, not super new, the sunset view is amazing.
The breakfast is great with a lot of options.
Very helpful and welcoming staff. I would give this hotel 100 stars for customer service. I once went into the hotel before I was a guest because my car broke down - I just needed to use a phone to call AAA. The staff was more than helpful. They recommended great car services in the area and I even got one of the famous doubletree cookies!
We've stayed here three times, and it's just as nice as ever! Do the breakfast/brunch buffet, you won't be disappointed. Service is always good, the outdoor bar is a comfy casual atmosphere, and of course the beach is wonderful! We've had beach side and street side rooms I'm not going to say whether beachside is worth the extra money, but I will say there's something about waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean that's good for the soul. Will be happy to visit many more times :-)
Highly recommend this hotel. Opt for the beach view. You won't regret it. The beaches' waves are small and not overpowering. The pool is pretty cool as well. Parking is not an issue as they have two floors. Kids love it and the sunsets are amazing.
Nice hotel. Close to beach.
I was given room on 3 level but barbecue smoke was entering my room. Also evening music played was good but somehow should be kept low as some guest just want peace on beach and are more interested to hear the waves splashing. Overall good hotel and good staff!!
My wife and I stayed here 3 years ago to this weekend when I proposed. I planned ahead of time for the staff to take our picture casually as I popped the question. They went above and beyond to make our night memorable. As we came back from a celebratory dinner, a bottle of champagne and a fruit plate with chocolate covered strawberries awaited us. The staff is fantastic and we will never forget that weekend.
Came across the tiki bar right on the beach..loved this spot for having a drink and a bite to eat! I wasn't crazy about the nachos. The other food at the table looked good though. Awesome drinks. Good service. Beautiful view. Our waitress was from Arkansas.
We stayed at the DoubleTree on North Redington Beach, FL. While deciding not to have an ocean view, we still had a balcony. The staff was absolutely incredible, especially the men at the front desk. The only complaint I have is that on our second floor room, the AC would go on and off and create a suction with a door making a banging noise every time the AC turned off. It kept us up all night, along with some other machine that would turn on and off every hour or so. Other than that, the stay was fine. Again, front desk staff was phenomenal!
Haven't had much of a chance to interact with hotel staff except for check-in. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Our floor is going through renovation right now but we haven't noticed any excessive noise. You can tell our floor is in need of upgrading. It's kind of dingy (carpet, walls, doors, and placards). Other than that, not too bad. We ate dinner at the outdoor tiki bar last night. The food was OK except that the soup came out late and had to be sent back because it was cold. Room overlooks the Bay which is nice as the balcony door can be left open for a nice breeze in the evening. This is an impromptu getaway so we're not letting little details get to us. If it were for a week or more I'd probably be a little disappointed.
