Better than expected. I’ve driven by this place on I-75 for years and honestly it doesn’t look like much from the highway. We spent a very enjoyable day there. It’s an impressive collection with so much more than just race cars. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will answer as many questions as you have. I would have liked to be able to walk all the way around more of the vehicles but with such a large collection there is not enough space.
If you are drag racing cars lover, this is the place for you!
You can see the history of the championships and its champions. How are the motors and its specials characteristics that made unique.
And you find fabulous classics cars.
The staff is very very friendly and helpful.
Photography is welcome!
I grew up a fan of “Big Daddy” and I couldn’t pass up the chance to see his museum. Before I toured his museum obviously I had great respect for his career, and innovations on the strip. But I left an even bigger fan, I’m really in awe of this man’s foresight to keep even the smallest details of drag racing history – really a national treasure.
If you love racing, love classic cars, this is a must stop unbelievable collection!
Amazing! They have a dizzying amount of cars, engines, and other collectable items on display. The fact that they give these amazing machines a home and the maintain and rebuild them as well makes the $20 very reasonable. My one regret was not having enough time. 1 hour is not nearly enough.
What a great place to visit. Really nice people, the cars in both collections were just amazing. Very clean and easy to get around. Could make it a little more wheelchair accessible but other than that awesome. We loved it from the littlest at age 7 to "papa" at 70
Fantastic display of cars. We went through building one and then went to lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then we came back and went through building 2 with antique cars. It takes a b out a day to really go through it.
Had a great time and saw many rare cars. It isn't corny like a lot of Florida attractions. Definitely worth going to again
Great museum with a great representation of drag racing history. It has something for everyone who is into Drag Racing. Being a Mopar fan it was heaven. Never seen that many Hemi's in one place in my life. The staff was friendly and I must have spent 8 hours there. Looking forward to the next time I get the chance to visit.
I loved this place because it had not only drag racing cars but also a vintage collection of things.
My 80 something Dad took me, it is better that what you will think you see. Like Fast cars? Or Do you like old cars both way stop and see. It was much better that what I thought I was was walking into.
Absolutely loved it! I never thought I would be interested in this, but I was enthralled by all the beautiful cars and the daring it takes to drag race in the fragile looking race cars! Much fun,!
An easy to access place with great parking and friendly people. Enjoy a relaxed yet exiting tour through drag car and racing history. Best car museum I've ever seen!
This place has an unbelievable collection of classic cars! The dragster and engine/parts collections were excellent as well, but my favorite part by far was the diverse collection of classic cars from a tremendous variety of makes and eras.
Give this place a chance if you're a car guy. You won't be disappointed. Bring some quarters for the jukebox! The sound is fantastic!
