Gypsy Gold Farm is a gem in Ocala horse country
The informative presentation by Dennis is up-beat, full of fascinating information about Gypsy Vanner horses, sprinkled with his humor and infectious laugh. His love for the horses and the farm is apparent. Erin's knowledge and affection for the horses as well as the other animals that live on the farm adds to the tourKudos to both Dennis and Erin for the pristine grounds, the magnificent horses and the informative tour. We highly recommend this tour for all ages.

This is a must "do not miss" tour. Absolutely fascinating story of these beautiful Gypsy horses told by Dennis Thompson himself who brought the first Gypsy horses to America in 1996. Dennis has such a passion and love for what he does and for the beautiful horses he raises. He had 3 beautiful colts and they were so friendly. My husband and I are so glad we took this tour and experienced the magnificent farm. Do yourself a favor set aside 2 hours and listen to Dennis & his unbelievable story of meeting the Gypsies that started this breed and all that he has done to protect and preserve the integrity of these horses. We loved every minute

What an amazing experience.
This is a MUST see on your list of things to do in Ocala. Dennis and Erin are wonderful hosts. The story of the Gypsy Vanner horses, their discovery and arrival in America is entertaining, enjoyable and educational. Bring your friends and family, meet the horses, and spend some time with the hosts. It's a gem.

I took my group (Dazzling Divas) recently to tour the Gypsy Gold Horse Farm, it was a fabulous experience. The information given by the owner who made it very entertaining and quite interesting and the farm itself was lovely. I would definitely go back again and would recommend it to others.

The visit to Gypsy Vanner Farm was nothing short of spiritual. The love that Dennis, Erin and the team have for their horses is infectious. The way they carry the story and history of the breed into their every day shows in the passion with which they share the stories and the care they give their beautiful horses. They know and love each and every one of their horses and we got to meet them all up close. We enjoyed the education and the experience immensely. Please go and see this place, it's a beautiful example of what's right with our world.

An indescribable joy. These horses are one of a kind and I fell in love the first time I saw them. Dennis (Erin & Gabriel) has built a farm that is a must see on things to do in Florida. I have been there 3 times and can't wait to go again. The horses are gorgeous and the story of the Gypsy Vanner in America should be made into a movie.
