I gotta say I don't know why people are saying all theses rude things about the people and gym.
I'm new and the staff the very first day really went out of their way to get my membership in order because of a mix up but not on their end and I really like how they are ALWAYS cleaning that's important I think.
But yeah the place is great and the lady that
Does the yoga is super nice and knowledgeable.
I've already recommended it to a couple of my friends.
Love the place!
Amber that works the front desk acts like shes doesnt get paid to be at work. Shes very rude and unapproachable. If I was a manager and saw the dirty looks she gives patrons when they ask a simple question, let alone the attitude when asked for help. She would be fired on the spot. Over all very unfriendly patrons as well but thats understandable. They dont get paid to be nice. If you are hired to work front desk you need to fix your attitude. If today was my first day i would not have sighned up. Other then that an ok gym for a franchize. Better the PF.
If I could rate "0" stars, I would. I found their staff very unorganized and rude. Upon joining (I've been a member for a month,) I had to fill out the same paperwork four times because the staff lost it or forgot to put it in their system. They had to scan my drivers license twice because they "lost it in the system" and one day they would not let me work out because I did not have my license- after it was already scanned in. There is a gentleman who works there, I do not know his name but he is short and heavy with a brown beard. He has been the rudest, most arrogant receptionist I've ever come across. I've asked him questions regarding previously stated issues and he's answered with "not my problem" on multiple occasions. He has told me that I cannot work out on two separate occasions without giving me reason. Very discourteous and unhelpful. This gym does not employ helpful, nice people, and I will never refer business to Gold's. I'm headed for Planet Fitness.
Extremely rude staff
Wanted to join because I move too far away from la fitness
I had simple questions about their plans and this lady behind the counter with this extremely sassy I'm better than everybody attitude just plopped a paper down in front of me and said here these are our plans.
The lady didn't even go over any of the plans she acted like I was wasting her time.
I wanted to take a tour of the gym before I commit myself for a year to see what equipment they had to offer and they couldn't because I was not a current member and of insurance and liability reasons And again she had this attitude towards me she couldn't even look me in the eyes.
I wouldn't recommend this gym to anybody i'm just going to stick with LA fitness and make the 45 minute travel to the gym where the staff has some decency and respect towards its members and potential members.
Been a member for a month so I thought I'd leave a review. First and foremost, this gym must employ a repair fairy, because I've been a member of many a gym, and outside of military gyms, I haven't seen a place where everything seems to be in working order. This means that the ownership puts their money back into the gym rather than their own pockets, which is definitely a good sign. Machines, dumbbells, benches, ellipticals, treadmills they have everything you need. I just wish the members would re-rack their weights.
