I went there for brunch with some Church friends and the food was wonderful. Nice and hot with a nice variety. And the price was affordable. 15.00 for a buffet style meal. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Several of us are already planning a return visit.
My previous review is below as I have updated. My work uses this hotel and 8 months ago this place was terrible. Since then, updates have happened, it's cleaner and inviting. Much more of what you would expect from a Marriott. They are still the most expensive I've been to when it comes to the food.
-Worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. None of the vending machines are stocked on floor. Rooms were not up kept. The whole hotel is old and dated and has a weird smell. Breakfast was awful.
I was there from 7 am to 10:30am for an expo. Signage was easy to find and read so I knew exactly where to go. Everything was very clean and well set up. The refreshments were light and easy to get to. Areas were set up for used dishes and cutlery so didn't have to search for what to do with used item when finished. Temperature was well set considering that weather had gotten cold rather abruptly. I didn't have any interaction with actual hotel staff.
Great place to stay for business/conference travelers or family vacation. Good customer service. The bed's and extra long pillows are incredible. Really enjoyed my stay. Coming back soon.
On the lower end of the Marriott range in terms of quality and hard goods, but standard is still definitely there. Room is clean enough but definitely looking aged. Staffs are attentive and courteous, but nothing above and beyond what is to be expected as the minimum requirement of the chain. WiFi is fast, certainly enough to stream 1080p live.
Worst Marriott in the US. Newly remodeled rooms are a throwback to early Motel 6. All cheap vinyl floors in rooms (no carpet anywhere). No drawers to put your clothes in. No towel bars to hang your 2 wet towels on and those are the new rooms. To top it off Rodney the General Manager says they are going to make all Marriott's this cheesy. Just horrible. Front desk staff is really indifferent to your needs. Put us in a handicap room and didn't even ask. Cared less. Free is too much for this loser.
The pool was over-chlorinated, and the pool deck was too slippery with no non-slip surface. The room was beautiful and comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff was helpful and breakfast was great.
Mistakenly cancelled by our booking made in February even tho confirmed directly with location in June.Room clean. Older room 500s but renovating 1st/6th in 2017. Breakfast decent. Low staffing. Ray & crew did their best to accommodate full house. Kudos to them.
Concierge is extremely helpful. Rooms are fairly modem. No in room safe. There are some nice finishing touches(coffee cabinet), but also room for improvement (loose fitting GFCI receptacle, finish worn off bathroom handle, dirty air conditioner filter). The in house restaurant has nice food, morning buffet has a moderate selection, warm eggs. There is a pool it closes at 11, I didn't use it.
I went for an interview and it was a quaint hotel lobby with a bar, tables and a help desk all close together. Very professional business setting, not a vacation hotel.
Extremely courteous and professional staff. Quality room and accommodations. Short drive from most needs.
The Marriott staff was very helpful, and accommodating. My overall experience was a pleasant one.
Pretty solid rate. Booked through Hotwire. Good size room for the price.
The staff here is very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The fire grill downstairs has ok food not the greatest. Everything was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
