Course is pretty nice, but some work needs to be done on making it a better experience. The sand traps are like concrete. Needs refill or turn over periodically. Lounge is cool, staff provides fun conversation, and good service.

We really love this place! Lots of regulars that are a blast to hang out with. Really good food at great prices. Nice beer selection and full bar as well. Patio has a great view of the golf course. They also have a full area for weddings and other large functions. You should try this hidden gem!

We booked our reception here for a June wedding back in December. Our wedding was this last weekend and we had an amazing time. Angela and her staff were friendly and professional. There was a mix up during wedding coordinator turnover in April but they honored all of the agreements and bookings on our deposit receipts and she was flexible with us when it came to early decorating. We really enjoyed our special day and this venue was beautiful and well maintained with an affordable price tag.

Contacted Angela on 05/22/2017 at 792-8630 for a wedding venue for my daughter. NEVER called back. Called a 2nd time on 05/23/2017. NEVER called back. Finally I went in with my daughter to look at Desert Greens and the venue. Angela was not there "SURPRISE" we left yet another message with a pleasant worker at the bar. NO CALL BACK. If this is the way Angela responds to possible clients I would find another venue! She has no interest in wedding planning or gaining Desert Greens any business!

This course is challenging but playable for the average golfer. Like most older courses, many holes have trees to contend with if you don't hit it straight. Greens were in great shape with lots of slope and very fast. Three of the par threes are 180-210 yards from the white tees so don't expect too many birdies unless you're a good golfer. Ronnie, the owner, is a super nice guy and is doing a fantastic job to keep this course in good shape. Highly recommend playing here if you visit or live in Albuquerque.

"Dean" the so called "pro" is disrespectful and rude. Very expensive! Was a very nice course years ago. Not so much anymore.

This place went downhill this past year. Two years ago the management was great. New management is not.
