In depth look at our nuclear program and history including weapons, medicine and power. Also alternative power such as wind and solar. Many great exhibits and aircraft. Worth the time and money. Lots to see so allot some time. Well done museum.

There's something for everyone here. My dad and I are on opposites sides of the spectrum when it comes to nuclear science knowledge: I know very little, but he's an engineer who's followed this stuff for years. Yet we both were impressed by the collection. The docents were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, as well. This place is well worth a visit.

This is a great museum of both science and war. Fun for the whole family. Everytime my dad visits, we always stop here before he goes back home and every time we have a great afternoon. They have a full set of plans out back, info about the history of nuclear science and nuclear war. Real interesting stuff.

This museum is great! Superb exhibits and clean facility, some truly unique pieces and they have a traveling room that keeps you coming back. It is still growing and there are plenty of ways to get involved and feel apart of the community. The outside yard is always improving and interesting! Awesome staff friendly and knowledgeable

Very nice staff. Wow, extremely interesting story of the nuclear age very nicely laid out. A lot of kids stuff too, good for the family. Gift store was tailored to kids and lacked any cool gifts for adults, that was disappointing also very expensive. FOUR STARS.

Wonderful exhibits, great history of a major turning point for our planet. Some of the information is sobering as it brings to lite the atrocities of war and man's injustice to man. Don't take this the wrong way the men and women who gave there best to open the nuclear age were and are amazing. Their trials and sacrifices are what makes this country great. I highly recommend this museum as a must experience.

Highly recommend visiting this museum. All of the staff & volunteers are remarkably knowledgeable & friendly.

There is a lot of history, a lot of information, beautiful aircraft, bombs, and parts on display, and there are sections for kids (or the kid in you!) as well to experiment as well.

Clean, informative, & an overall incredible experience. Thankful for the people who put this together & all who make it happen, so "millennials" like myself are able to have a better understanding & learn from our country (& world!) history.

Loved it but my truck got broken into while parked in their lot. Security folks told me it happens. I was parked where their security cameras have little coverage. I mention this because I wouldn't want this to happen to you. Park in front not way to the side. The museum is amazing. Went back next day but parked directly in front of entrance!!

Great educational displays, lots of info provided, and docents that helped explain everything. What they don't prepare you for is the gut wrenching reactions you'll have when you read or see all the info about the bombs dropped in Japan. Or nuclear accidents around the world. As much as I love science, having grown up during the cold war years as an Army dependent, this was hard for me. If you're a sensitive soul, you might want to skip it.

The Museum was an interesting place. It was especially fascinating to see the sheer number and kind of nuclear weapons that had been produced during the Cold War. I was familiar with many of the ICBMs and aircraft-borne platforms, but not so much with the artillery and ground-based tactical weapons. Aside from the weapons displays, there is a decent-sized hands-on area with demonstrations in static electricity, electrolysis of water into hydrogen and oxygen, and solar power. Overall, worth the cost of admission.

A smaller, but really decent museum about anything nuclear. Mostly factual and about history, but some fictional events included. Super nice staff! Info labels, especially outside, could be more comprehensive.

Had a great time with my kids. Lots for adults to learn and lots for kids to do. Pretty well covered the story of nuclear energy and even some of the popular culture that surrounded it.

If you visit Albuquerque you should tour this museum. Very interesting exhibitions about complex topic beginning of the nuclear age. Great artifacts on display and opportunity to see a B29 and B52.
At this point a special thank to Mr. Raoul Garcia for his very friendly and enjoyable explanations in the aircraft and rocket exposition a few weeks ago. Happy Easter from Germany !
