WORST PLACE EVER!
I had taken my cat in because she was super sick. They did tests and all that, and told me they would call or email me the results when they got them. They would not let me leave with my cat, until I paid the bill. I was 18 years old, of course I didn’t have that kind of money. I ended up having to apply for a credit card, to pay the bill so I could take her home. They never even called or emailed me the results of her tests, and then she ended up passing away a couple weeks later. They never even apologized or anything, when she had passed.

My dog passed away at home in the middle of the night. I am a technician at a different clinic and was sad and scared to not be able to take her somewhere that I knew. They were so kind to me and assured me her body was in good hands. Very professional and caring

We brought in our deathly ill, 4 legged family member into this veterinarian office as an emergency case. They provide 24/7 emergency service. After 2 days of hospitalization, our sweet baby is now recovering at home, all thanks to these guys!!!!!! I will forever be so so grateful for the care and treatment my baby received here - they diligently worked around the clock (during the weekend that he stayed) to provide the life saving care he so urgently needed. They did not sugar coat the severity of the situation, it could have gone either way. Thankfully, due to their expertise and our baby’s will to stay with us, it went for the better! These guys truly care, they pour 110% of their heart, knowledge, and soul into your little loved one! They will do everything they possibly can for your baby!
They always called when they told us they would, they were very patient with all of our questions, and they operate their practice with integrity! Every single staff member that I engaged with at this clinic was extremely kind and knowledgeable! Special shout-out to Dr. King, the veterinarian who treated our boy upon his arrival at the hospital. Dr. King is so knowledgeable and an amazing veterinarian! Quality emergency care does not come with a cheap price tag, however, I do feel that his visit was reasonably priced! I absolutely recommend VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital for any and all of your pet’s needs!

Just got off the phone with Stephanie the owner of deer creek animal hospital and she went above and beyond to make my problem correct. she listened to me and my side of the story and made sure I knew my problem was important to her. Stephanie showed excellent customer service and I now know if my dog Gracie ever has a problem and my normal vet is closed I know I can trust the staff at deer creek for any of my dogs emergency needs. I definitely recommend this place and if I could give more then 5 stars I would thank you so much again Stephanie for reaching out to me and for being an awesome leader! (:

We have been bringing our pets to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for about 8 years now. They are wonderful! No matter which veterinarian we see, we are confident that our animals are getting the best possible care. Today we brought our skittish kitty, Miles, to see Dr. Cheney Lupe. During the examination he was very gentle with Miles, and he patiently answered all of our questions. We left feeling relieved and reassured. As soon as we got home Miles was a happy boy once again. Great service from really caring professionals. Would not hesitate to recommend Deer Creek to anyone in need of veterinary care.

Any time we have had to go to Deer Creek we are overwhelmed by the caring nature of the staff. Our pets are our children and they love them as if they were their own. We sure appreciate all they do for us and our pets. Thanks Deer Creek for your professionalism and gentle care!

Get past the Desk staff who are about as welcoming as the Grinch. They tell you they take the dogs out every 4 hours but I do not believe that for one minute. I know my dog’s habits and that dog was not taken out regularly and any dog on an IV needs to be walked more often. Other than that,, vets are warm and reassuring but the technical staff treat you like you have the plague. In particular, Dr. Hanson is really good; takes the time to sit down with you and discuss the short and long term issues and really knows his stuff. My issues were with the rest of the staff who really need some customer service classes. One older woman with short hair at the desk looked at me (when I explained I was military) and said.”you got anything to prove that?’”. You’d have thought I’d said I was from the moon. Grrrrrr

Deer Creek Animal Hospital has been caring for our beloved dog family members for over 20 years now. They have journeyed with us through the healthy years and the challenging older years. We could not have asked for more professional, knowledgeable, compassionate care than what we have experienced with numerous veterinarians and staff as circumstances dictated. In addition, we have used their boarding facilities and believe it or not, our Labrador enjoys going there with wagging tail and ready for an adventure. It is reassuring to board with one's vet because we know if anything went wrong, the right people are there to address the issue. Our vet and vet tech were both phenomenal on our first visit! My little baby and I just moved and she needed her second round of shots, the vet was super friendly and explained which ones Ella was receiving and why. I was incredibly impressed and satisfied. I will definitely be back!

My family (parents, in-laws and now my husband and myself) have taken our pets to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for decades. The level of care they provide is exceptional. The staff is always caring and professional. The office is clean, convenient and provides great access to care after hours and on weekends. We will never go anywhere else with our furry family members.

I have been taking 5 generations of dogs to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for both routine veterinary care as well as for life saving emergencies and multiple surgical procedures ranging from routine through intricate abdominal and orthopedic conditions. All of the veterinarians and supporting staff are professional, competent and extremely supportive. I highly recommend DCAH for their loving and compassionate care. Most of the staff have specialized in an area of expertise that is available for most care needs They provide 24 hour care for emergency and medical care including boarding.

My husband and I brought our cat to the emergency care at Deer Creek Animal Hospital after taking her to other vets, trying to determine why she was so sick. They prioritized our case, took her immediately to the back, and had a team working on her right away. We had Dr. Cuban working with us and he was absolutely wonderful. Everyone working with her was very professional and knowledgeable and we knew our kitty was in good hands. They ran every test, and explored every possibility before finally determining the inevitable: that our beloved cat had an incurable illness. We knew that putting her down that day was the most humane thing to do. Doctor Cuban and the staff at Deer Creek Animal Hospital we're so kind and compassionate through the whole process. They even worked with us on pricing for everything that was done that day and didn't try to use the opportunity to take advantage of a couple that would have done anything we could to try to save our kitty. Even though that day was full of heartbreak, our experience with Deer Creek Animal Hospital could not have been better. This establishment will now be our one and only veterinary service for all feature animals we have.

Highly recommend Dr Cox. He was truly helpful with our dog. She had a massive tumor on her back which he removed. He had to stitch it up several times due to area it was located. Thank you Dr Cox. So glad we didn't have too put her down. She's still doing fine.

I trust Dr. Cox more than any other vet. He is very experienced and talented and takes the best care of our dogs over the years. He is very knowledgeable and also a very nice man who is fun and enjoyable to talk with. He always gives us the time we need and understands I need to be involved in my dog's care. I highly recommend Deer Creek; all of there staff is pleasant and good at what they do.

Would not advise anyone take their animal here. I had my great danes here for over a year and throughout the year it was disappointment and extra fees and hidden charges one right after another. I used regular care, boarding and emergency care.

I decided to take my dogs out of their care after they neglectfully handled my 2 year old dane. He ripped his toe nail. It was bleeding. I called to schedule an appointment, and as always you will find they never have "regular" appointments which cost half the price. They only have "emergency" visits to fill. So, I had to pay $98.00 in order for him to be seen within the next 3 days.

The vet did not physically examine my dog in this visit. She did not even exam the toenail- didn't even touch my dog!!! She appeared as if she was intimidated by the sheer size of my dog. What did she do? she actually she handed me soap pads to wash his wound myself and said try giving him pain meds. She failed to provide antibiotics to prevent an infection, provided me with no care instructions and sent me on my way.

They failed to prescribe antibiotics and he ended up with an infection. I took him to another vet because I was so appalled at the neglectful care we got and I found out that my dog actually needed to have surgery to have the nail removed and because of the delay there were other health issues caused and I had to buy more RX and do more care.

Deer Creek acknowledged their negligence, but it was a common theme with this provider. I spent more money going to this place and working with them than I ever have in the history of owning animals. My animals aren't sick or trouble animals either. They just always sneak in an extra fee here or charge you brand names without options for generic or they forget to handle your animal correctly, so there is a secondary wound and now you have to pay to take care of that.

If you are smart, you will read reviews of vets in the area and take heed to the reviews and have your animals cared for elsewhere. There are many more options with higher reviews in the neighborhood.

As of date, I don't see changes happening to this facility. Until something changes, I wouldn't recommend this place. Sad too because they were close to home. But, they will not handle our animals anymore.

As a client of more than 30 years, I can highly recommend the caring professionals at Deer Creek Animal Hospital. We have had 3 dogs over those years and each one received the best care. We no longer live in the area, yet we continue to make the drive to our favorite, lifetime vets. They are the best!

Laser therapy treatment has provided to be very effective in improving my dog's pain management. Have heard it is not effective in every experience but it is an incredible improvement for my companion. Each time we have come in has been a positive experience, whether crazy busy or quite. The techs have been very positive in treating my dog. Thank you Deer Creek Team for the miracle of technology & improving my pet’s quality of life!

DCAH treated me and my dog with superior service. I received the needed information from the doctor and my pet received the needed medications.
An added perk of visiting DCAH is that the doctors can make you laugh, giving you the feeling of being a family member. I love DCAH.

We came here after going to Highlands Ranch emergency clinic. Deer creek is where you should go! The other place convinced us that our 1 year old dog needed surgery or we had to euthanize her. The bedside manner here is so awesome! They care about your pet. They offer many payment options. After being traumatized by the other place running on low sleep they considered taking more X-rays free of charge since we just came from the other place with the X-rays on disc. After taking X-rays the rock she had lodged in her intestines worked its way down to her colon and they recommended her to be on fluids and pass it on her own. One more X-ray is all the other place needed, just infuriates me! She passed it the next morning. This place is half the cost, qualified vets, and great service! We are so happy we have our energetic one year old back! Thank you so much! You need to go here!

There are so many wonderful things about Deer Creek! First off lets just say they are by far the BEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER! I was on vacation here and needed a place to take care of my cats while I traveled around Colorado. I couldn't tell you how much care they had for them. Deer Creek has so many wonderful friendly staff and excellent Vets. I would call to check up on my cats and they would always let me know how they were doing in great detail. I honestly wish I had a clinic like this back in Wisconsin. Everyone is just so caring and extremely thoughtful and has so much love for animals. Definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who truly wants their pets to be loved and cared for!!
