Thank you Apex
We had our fur baby (Buffett)diagnosed with papillary squamous cell carcinoma and referred to Apex.
I was met by Erin and she was so caring to Buffett and also to me.I was a mess dealing with Buffett having a cancer mass in his mouth.
Dr. Guillory was so amazing and caring, and advised me that she would take care of him. Buffett had mass removed, 4 teeth and some jawbone.
He looks a little like Elvis.
Buffett surgery was on Friday and recovering over Labor Day weekend.
Erin checked on Buffett during the weekend and was sooooo caring.
Apex called me many times to check on Buffett.
We are a week out from surgery and Buffett is doing great, hoping that all the cancer was removed.
Everyone at Apex were very kind and caring

Czar came to APEX DOG AND CAT DENISTRY due to inflamed gums resulting from an allergy medication (Atopica known to cause this condition). Unfortunately, just stopping the medication wasn't an option because his allergies are so bad. Thankfully, Dr. Jeremy Batchel at VRCC Dermatology recognized the issue and sent us to see Dr.. Beebe, a certified Animal Dentist.
Although Covid protocols restricted me from going inside, the entire team, including Dr Beebe, are extremely attentive and willing to stand outside discussing Czar's diagnosis and treatment plan. At no time, did any of the team cut our discussion short and were always 100% willing and able to answer every question I had.
The team here is absolutely amazing and are so compassionate about caring for pets and, when you see them interaction with the pets, you can see their passion for their profession! Dr. Beebe is HIGHLY recommended by veterinarians all around Denver but his outstanding team is what makes APEX DOG AND CAT DENTISTRY an easy 5-STAR recommendation!

I cannot give this business enough stars. To begin, our dog broke two adult teeth-a canine and an incisor-while playing fetch. Panicked, we called everywhere we could to find help for him. We were referred to this place. They were booked until February 4th, and after asking to be placed on the waitlist, they called only two days later to inform me they had a cancellation and an open spot. We brought our dog to the clinic for an initial evaluation and the vet-tech taking care of us was friendly and informative to say the least. After the evaluation, Dr. Beebe came out and talked to us personally for about 45 minutes explaining procedure options, what he thought was best, and how everything would happen depending on what we decided. I didn't feel like he was pressuring us to choose the most expensive option, but instead that he wanted the best for our dog. After leaving, we were immediately sent PDFs of the treatment plan, estimated cost, and pre-procedure instructions.
They got us in the very next week for the procedure and this was where I was most impressed. Before dropping my dog off in the morning, the vet-tech went over procedure details again, medication information, and asked for all phone numbers of people I would like to keep updated. We were able to text this number with any inquiries we had during the time he was there. I dropped my dog off and they created a group chat with the phone numbers I provided to keep us all updated throughout the whole procedure. Then, I received a call as my dog was getting put under anesthesia, three calls during the procedure to inform me of how it was going and about a change of plan due to unknown low integrity of a tooth we had originally wanted to put a crown on, as well as a call when he was waking up to inform us of how he was doing. During the post-procedure call, Dr. Beebe took time to explain the procedure in depth and express how happy he was with the treatment. Next, he put the vet-tech oh the phone and she went over post-procedure and post-anesthesia care in detail as well as how/when to dispense medications. Then we scheduled a complimentary check-up for two weeks later.
I've never been to a clinic (human or animal) that has been this informative, communicative, and respectful. I would recommend this place 100 times and again.

All of the APEX staff was incredible. I took my older dog for a routine cleaning specifically to them based on a vet recommendation. Unfortunately they unexpectedly found cancer in her jaw. They facilitated the biopsy and spent 30 minutes on the phone with me after hours to explain the biopsy results and some decisions moving forward. They sent all of her records to both of the oncologists without me having to ask. Their communication was great and Abby was always happy to go inside with their staff. I’m very thankful for their diligent work and would give them the highest recommendation.

Our Pug needed some advance dental surgery, and we found great expertise and compassion in the staff and Dr. Beebe. During the day of surgery, they keep you up to date on the progress which is a relief. As a side note but certainly a sign of their relationships with their patients and their families -- I saw several very sweet framed pictures of pets with grateful messages. Apex has a loyal following including us. Enjoy our photos of Chloe. :)

Dr. Beebe was a miracle worker yesterday afternoon. Our 4 month old puppy was attacked by another dog, which resulted in two breaks in the left lower jaw- completely detaching the bone from the mandible. Due to his age and puppy teeth, there were extremely limited options on how to operate and attempt to fix the break, no veterinarian dentist in the Denver area felt confident taking the case. But Dr. Beebe helped us out immensely by taking our little guy in on the same day and doing his surgery into the evening hours. He thought outside the box and creatively and miraculously combined several different methods to piece his jaw and tissue back together. He and his helpful staff talked us through the whole event, didn't mind when we called throughout the long surgery to check in, and in a deeply traumatic incident made us feel so much better. In the midst of a terrible day, we were lucky to be referred to Apex Dog and Cat Dentistry. We are so thankful.

I went back and forth about writing this in hopes “time” would make what my pet and I went through more tolerable at the hands of Dr. Beebe and Apex Dental. It has not. What started as me caring for and loving my pet as a child, turned into an exploitive near death experience for my pet and 3,200+ in medical bills. After reading several good reviews of Apex Dental and Dr. Beebe, I decided to contact his practice and make an appointment for my dog. Scheduling was a snap and done very professionally. I arrived on-time for our preliminary appointment and was seen shortly thereafter. The appointment went well and my dog Pepper and I were both treated with kindness and compassion. An explanation of surgical procedures and related charges was given with a written and verbal estimate of 700-900 being the expected range with an absolute max 2,208 max (according to Dr. Beebe, jokingly if my dog needed dentures). Dr. Beebe said she didn’t need anything close. Wanting the best for Pepper and “feeling” that Dr. Beebe was capable of that, I scheduled Pepper’s surgery for the following week. That was the last good experience with Apex dental I would have.

Throughout that day of Pepper’s surgery, I was not kept informed of her status or current condition. I called and noon and they said she was in procedure. They finally called me around 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon with a very cryptic message that there were a few extractions the needed to do. They couldn’t tell me anything about price so I was thinking closer to the 900 dollar range Dr. Beebe quoted. I called back again at 4 as I had heard nothing and I knew their office would close between 5-6 (or whenever they decide to go home). I was treated like a pest this time as opposed to a concerned parent. I was told, Pepper has been in procedure for 5+ hours. “Oh but don’t worry, she is just fine.” When I asked about picking her up, they said 5:30. Feeling as though something fishy was up, I went there immediately and waited. After ringing the front desk bell repeatedly, a vet tech with bloody hands finally came out to talk to me. She was more interested in telling me about the fact that she is training to become a mortician than where my dog was. That’s when they hit me with the doozie. Pepper’s charges had skyrocketed to 3,200+ plus with virtually no explanation. Dr. Beebe was nowhere to be found. When I asked if I could speak with him, he wasn’t available.
At this point, I almost called the police and had them meet me at the facility as it felt like Pepper was being held at ransom. I reluctantly paid the outrageous price and demanded that I see Pepper immediately. She was returned to me at that point. She had been under anesthesia for 5 hours. She was out of it big-time which I found out much of that would become permanent in the form of brain damage. One day with Dr. Beebe at Apex dental, and she was never the same again.

Ultimately Pepper never recovered and I put her down about 2 weeks ago.

What Dr. Beebe might like to know:
1.) People come to you and pay your prices because they love their pets and expect top notch treatment. When you sell someone a Ferrari and drive them home in a worn out VW, they are not going to be happy. Your patients are family members, not procedures.
2.) Communication with your customers is king. Pets that are brought to you are family members not toasters. Communicate with the families while their loved ones are in your care.
3.) Follow-up. When someone is having problems, don’t just vindicate yourself of the problem and push them out the door for someone with another bank account that needs drained.
4.) Your ability to deliver a treatment plan is pathetic. I call what you do bait and switch with questionable legality and morality.

Dr. Beebe and his staff are fantastic. I have a cat who suffers from severe stomatitis. I had been to more than half a dozen vets before finding Dr. Beebe's website. I originally emailed him about a different situation, but found his email so helpful, supportive, and knowledgable, I knew I had to take my cat in to see him.
Dr. Beebe is all-around the best vet I've ever worked with. Stomatitis is a very frustrating disease with few good answers, but Dr. Beebe took the time to discuss all of the options with me, answer all of my questions, and to thoroughly explain everything we discussed and all of his treatment suggestions. He, and his amazing staff, were patient even through all my follow-up calls, numerous questions, and went way above and beyond to be sure my cat got the best treatment possible.
Dr. Beebe was honest with me about the odds of success for all of the options we discussed, and was clear and upfront about all of the costs and risks involved.
The treatment we decided upon was more successful than I had dared hope, and Dr. Beebe and everyone who works at Apex are the reasons my kitty is alive and happy today. I cannot recommend Apex Dog and Cat Dentistry highly enough in every aspect. They are absolutely worth the trip to see a specialist if your pet has any kind of mouth-related issue.

We brought our 8-year-old golden retriever in with an "interesting" condition - he had rubbed the enamel off of his two lower canines. Dr Beebe and his staff were excellent from Day One. Even the first time I called, trying to find a vet that could help us, I was greeted with an informative, friendly assistant who took the time to answer all of my questions on the phone without making me feel rushed. Then, once we brought Dugan in for his procedure, Dr Beebe spent a lot of time up front talking about the options, the pros and cons of each, and together we came up with the best treatment plan. I knew that Dugan was in great hands, and after the procedure he was back to his happy self. I would highly recommend Apex Dentistry to anyone who is looking for quality dental care for their beloved pets.
