Clean, quiet, spacious rooms. Plenty of privacy, while still close to shopping etc and easy access to the freeway. Polite and friendly staff.

The staff at this location had been amazing. We were staying due to the loss of a family member. April, Marsha, and Jeff went above and beyond to assist my family. They were a blessing to have, during our time of need. I can't say enough good things to convey how much we appreciate them.

I checked into the Days Inn North Scottsdale on Sept. 21, 2017. I took off my shoes and laid down on the bed for a few minutes’ rest before going out to eat. BIG MISTAKE. Within a short time, I had at 8 bug bites on my legs (see photo). I sprayed Lysol on the bedspread and all the bed linens and went out for dinner. Returning to the room after dinner, I tried watching television but the signal kept dropping out.

My sleep was interrupted constantly during the night by a noisy room refrigerator cycling on and off all night long. In the morning, exhausted because of the bug bites and the noisy refrigerator, I went to the lobby wing of the complex for breakfast.

Exiting the lobby to return to my room through an outside door after breakfast (my room being in another building) my card key would not open the door. Running late for an appointment, I called the front desk and notified the clerk who said she would send someone over right away. After several minutes, the maintenance man showed up and let me into the building. The card key would not open the door to my room. I told the maintenance man that I was running late for an appointment and asked if he could let me in my room get my things and leave. After telling me that my card was probably “demagnetized” if it was near my cell phone, he said that he couldn’t open the door without permission from the front desk. He “supposedly” called the front desk but “couldn’t get anyone to answer”. As he sauntered by toward the lobby, I called the front desk and Trisha answered immediately.
Trisha called the maintenance man and had him open my room for me, resulting in another ten minutes of delay. I have never had a hotel key card “demagnetized” by being near a cell phone. I wouldn’t be surprised if the card key hadn’t been cancelled before I actually checked out of the facility.

I have stayed at several Days Inns in the past and have never had such a bad experience.

Was told that even though it says there is a 3:00 pm check in time, we could check in any time before that no charge because they have a 24 hr attendant at the front desk. Drove 10 hours over night just to be told check in is at 12 if our room is even ready by then. Offered no accommodations for the wrong information their attendant gave us and suggested we sit in our car for 4 hours to wait. We came back in at 11 to see if there was anyway to get our room slightly early and the same attendant who told us check in was 12 said "oops my mistake it's actually 3 pm." Rather annoyed that the same attendant told us three different times and was unaware of the policies she was apparently supposed to be enforcing, we explained our situation further. She began to bargain room prices with us and wanted us to pay 40$ for going into the empty room 30 minutes early. Same night she was screaming at a guest at 10:30 pm, loud enough to hear from the fitness center. Upon checking out we had to wait for the attendant to finish his cigarette before he could help us. Overall, not pleased with the service received when interacting with the employees.

The location of the hotel is near other attractions such as Top Golf, Talking Stick Casino, comedy club and down town Scottsdale. There's a variety of activities surrounding the hotel giving you just a short drive to go to them. Days Inn offered free breakfast which is one of the reason we stayed there. They had a variety of options that was nice to choose from. The hotel staff we're friendly, helpful, and nice. The hotel campus was well maintained and clean. The cons are, the hotel was priced just a bit higher then some competitors that were closer to attractions or newer, that also offered same amenities free breakfast and free shuttle. They offer free shuttle however during our visit they didn't have anyone and were unable to give us this service. Pricing we found a cheaper rate then what they quoted us over the phone by going through a 3rd party. Over all it was great. We would definitely stay here again if we got the same deal or better.

The hotel is near Talking Stick Casino & downtown Scottsdale. There's a lot to do locally. What we like about this hotel is that it's affordable, near the attractions we wanted to do, and the free breakfast. The staff were nice and friendly. Property is well maintained. Would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and typical of mid-priced hotels. Check-in and check-out was hastle free. While the location is not walking distance from many attractions, it is only a short drive from many great Scottsdale restaurants and shops.

Nice place to stay, good location, close to a lot of places in Scottsdale. Nice building very modern and clean. Staff provides great service and is very friendly. Next to the 101 loop, that was very convenient.

The rooms, while a bit dated, were comfy and clean, but our front desk experience was a swift kick in the crotch. From check-in to post-stay billing errors there was confusion and rudeness. We've been staying at the Pima for AZ visits long before Days Inn swooped in to sour the place, so it pains me to say: Stay literally anywhere else.
