Every time I stay here I get a mystery charge on my card I have to dispute. And the resort fee is a joke . They are no resort by no means. I have been staying in Fernandina beach since Aug 2016 and days inn is the only ones that charge a extra resort fee and you need to watch your bank account or credit card because if you don't stay on top of it they charge you more money and blame it on there system or just call you a lier to your face. I only stay here if it is the last option and every time they never let me down. Smh oh and the other ratings that are higher than 3 are fake!

Stayed here in Feb. 2017. It was a little too chilly to enjoy the beach but the hotel is a short walk from it, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance as well. We LOVED the bar they have at the hotel- the drinks, the bartenders, the atmosphere. Our room was near the pool/bar area and it did get a little loud on our last night but I was still able to sleep. Also, we got this room on Groupon and had 2 free drink coupons per night, per person. Amazing deal!

Service at the front desk was very pleasant. Room is in need of serious work. Take carpet out and put in tile, there are screws holding up the mirror, the bathroom walls need to be repaired. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet.

What a joke. Booked on line for $190 per room. When you get there, they add a $20 "resort" fee. (This is NOT a resort, its a 2 star MOTEL). It seems better when they say you get two free drinks. We sit down at the bar and order drinks, only to find out that only draft beer and house wine are all that's included. Find another place to stay.

We will start with rust. I had a king room and the refrigerator was rusted inside and on the out side of the door. The bathtub the bathtub had mold and to top it off nicely the water in the kitchen sink had a bad smell. When I checked in I asked if the resort fee was already paid, and was told yes only $20 would be held on my card. Not the case at all! I was charged for the resort fee again. When I complained about the room they said sorry we are full we can not change rooms for you. What could I do? Nothing. It that is what I get for booking at a Days Inn.

Good place to stay. Staff was pleasant and hapoy to help. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We rented bikes and had a blast. Sliders had great food. I don't recommend the Days Inn on site bar. Waiter was busy smoking and talking to women outside.

June 28-30, 2017 The room was clean the first day. Housekeeping didn't clean the room on the 29th. The plumbing was terrible!!!!!!!! The first day we had to call for a plunger because the toilet wouldn't flush. The sink in the wouldn't drain. The man that came was very nice. He handled it and said call us if you need us again. We needed the toilet plunged twice the second day and didn't put any tissue in the toilet after the first day. This was only urine in this toilet. The man that came that day was extremely nice and offered his apology. The young man that was called that evening brought us the plunger and said please return this to the front desk when you are through. Hahacustomer service???? We stayed here back in 2010 and we were very satisfied. It is way to overpriced while they are having 7 and 8 calls everyday about their plumbing. We love Amelia Island but, will not ever stay at Days Inn there again. Very unsatisfied!!!!!!!

Peace to you. Very decent accommodations- clean, extra friendly staff. As of this post, unreasonably overpriced when compared with a nearby competitor (within >0.1 miles) with much more contemporary furnishings, greater sq. ft., and far more amenities

The Days Inn is a great location to the beach. They have bicycles available to rent. They also offer a complimentary breakfast which is decent. They also offer complimentary drinks at the bar that is located on site which is a plus. Overall the room is clean as well as the bathroom and the location is amazing. You can't beat the price for a hotel that is located one block from the beach.

HORRIBLE. I had a terrible experience here the room they put us in had ROACHES!!! Coming out of the fridge disgusting. This will be my very last coming to this unclean hotel. I know this place is cheap and most people come here for the beach but that is no excuse for filthy room's. it doesn't deserve it's 2 star rating if i could i would give no star. (plus the Wi-Fi is terrible and slow)

Great location and great for families. The carpets and furniture could use some updating, but overall a great value. The breakfasts were what you'd expect and the free drink cards were a nice surprise. My kids loved the nice pool and basketball courts. We will definitely be back as long as the price stays in that range.
