The staff was incredibly rude and surly. They overbilled us and refused to fix it. The mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. The heater was noisy. The room walls were very thin and we could hear conversations in the adjacent room. The room was small. The shower had not been cleaned, and had hair (someone else's) in it. The breakfast was not too bad, though. Do not stay here if you have any choice at all.
Keep driving and don't stop here. We were traveling for 21 hours and needed rest so we stopped here. The halls had a funky smell, the first room the heater didn't work and the second room heater didn't either. I would have given 1 star but the kind desk person loaned me her own ice scraper in the morning and I give star number 2 all to her.
This place is terrible!!! For guest and employees. I worked Maintenance for a few months. Owners would not spend the money to update or fix anything. Rooms don't seem up to code. As a maintenance employee, I got a look at "the behind the scenes" Black mold runs rampant behind these walls. The half ass previous repairs, and rapid deteriorating of the building and management! Owners barely speak English and the management are all very rude, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay as a guest or work as an employee
Welcome stop close to I 90/94. It has a very nice hot tub and pool. Nice size room, very clean. No elevator. Decent breakfast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs along with yogurt, cereal and juice. No restaurant close but subway and dq across parking lot.
The only reason why I am giving one start is because I cant give zero starts. The manager does not know English well and can not operate a card reader. I was charged hundreds of dollars to my card when I clearly told them I did not want the card charged. The room keys did not work the entire time I was there and when I came back to my room late at night the front desk person was nowhere to be fount so I spent 45 minutes waiting to get back to my room so I can sleep. on top of that when I asked for a new key the guy at the front desk said it should work and didn't want to solve the issue. If you need a reliable well maintained place to stay I suggest you pick a different place to stay. you will get nothing but attitude and frustration from DAYS IN
Ask what rate they are giving you! I wasn't thinking and just signed the check-in sheet (has the rate on it) and found upon check-out that they charged me double what the rate was when I checked online the prior to arriving. My mistake, but that's not a great way of doing business.
Room: mine was small but clean, and included a fridge and microwave. Some of the lights did not work, and I had a weird moisture absorber tub under the nightstand. That was a first for me. If you're ok with cheap hotels, this is for you. I wouldn't bring my family here, though.
The location is near two gas stations and a restaurant all in walking distance. Within a short drive to Portage and East side of Madison. Right off the interstate. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was ready upon arrival. Room clean. Bathroom clean. Could not hear neighbors. The free breakfast was smaller than others but decent choices. The pool area clean and roomy. A few pool toys for the kids to use.
I travel a lot for work, so I stay in a hotel EVERY week and this one here has the best customer service that I have ever had.
The extra lengths they go when they come to clean your rooms, it is excellent! I usually stay at super 8 or best western, but from now on this days inn has earned my business for life!!
Really clean rooms. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Modern and updated. Free plentiful breakfast. The front desk attendant was awesome. We experienced a road emergency and the attendant provided us with the telephone number to local repair shops. Would stay here again.
I just needed a place to park my car for the weekend while passing through. They were very nice and allowed me to park my car there for free.
We stayed for one night on June 30, 2017. After checking in, we briefly left the room to get some food. Upon returning to the hotel, we walked up the stairs behind another group that had just checked in. We watched as they walked up to our room (207), inserted their key, and entered our room. The hotel not only gave these people working keys to our room, they also disabled the keys they had given us. Had we not been walking in right behind them, they could have stolen all our belongings (or worse).
Luckily, we were there to witness them entering our room and we all walked down to the front desk together to resolve the situation. The desk clerk claimed a computer outage was at fault for the mix up, however we were not asked to provide any additional information, nor did he change anything in the computer system. He simply provided us with new keys, which leads me to believe this was the result of human error, not a computer issue.
Upon checking out the next morning, I asked to speak to the manager but was informed there was not a manager on duty. I expressed my concerns about the incident and they took down my contact information, indicating that the manager would contact me. That was over 3 weeks ago and I have yet to hear from anyone associated with the hotel/chain.
I called the Wyndham custom service number to file a formal complaint, but was given the same empty promise: the manager of the hotel will be touch. If they haven't cared enough about the safety of their guests to respond by now, why should I believe they ever will?
Not sure I can describe how awful this hotel was and how uninterested the staff or even the corporate office was in customer service. The smell in the hallway was Nauseating and the room wasn't much better. Did not let any or our stuff touch the floor if we could help it, bought sheets to cover up the bed, one room in group had bed bugs, staff was very rude, carpet filthy, bathroom and sink had dirt all around it, the whole place was disgusting. Tried to cancel 2nd night, very rude customer service would not honor our request, so ended up paying anyway because no way could stay a second night. If looking for a hotel in the Dells area I would stay far far far away from this one!!!
It was awful, they stole our money😡We booked 5 rooms. They called me that morning of our reservation they charged me over the phone for 5 rooms for the amount of $1904.20. When we got to the hotel every person was charged for their room separately so they took the money from us twice. Called to get my money back they won't put it back in my account. They have terriable customer service😠Every question they ask they don't know. Sent an email to the manager about the issue it's been 10 days and still no reply😡😡😡 if they don't give me my money back I am going to sue them. no recommendations
Worst night ever. Couldn't wait to head back on the road. We had issue with our water, bugs, and I had ask a simple question about the security of the premise and all I got is " we can't share that info with you". Traveling and car full of stuff, at least" you have nothing to worry about and I understand your concern. We are a safe place".
