Some of my family stayed here over spring break, booking for one night to get the free Chula Vista passes. When they went to the front desk to get the passes, the owner told them a two night stay was necessary to receive the passes. Even when shown their own website and the confirmation email confirming the free passes, the owner did not give them the tickets. To end on a good note, the rooms were good for the price.

This motel is better than any motel or hotel I’ve ever been in. For a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout twin bed, it was only $50. The owner was very nice. The room itself was very clean, and had a microwave and minifridge. This place is in the heart of the dells, and is a perfect location being near all of the shops and amusement parks. If I could, I would rate this place 1,000 stars!

Basic accommodations, but very clean. Close enough to the main road in Wisconsin Dells, but far enough away so you don't get the noise. I was welcomed warmly by the front desk staff. The price was very reasonable, especially when you factor in the free Chula Vista water park passes. We will definitely be going there again!

Clean, with a helpful staff. Well located. We really had no problems with the place, but it is a budget place, and great value for the price.

Enjoyed our visit. Was able to get a queen bed room at the last minute on a Sat night. Reasonable price. New bathrooms. Will come again.

The room was very clean, and the owner was extremely friendly. You can't beat the location either! It's so close to shops and bars we were able to walk pretty much anywhere on the main road easily

My mom and I come to the dells a few times a year, and we always stay here. The lady is super friendly and nice! She always remembers us and asks how I'm doing since she almost watched me grow from each summer. It's clean, cheap, and right next to the downtown area. They should buy the hotel right to them (Top Hat) and add a pool and small park area.

Three stars ONLY because of it being so dated, but it is well-kept, the staff was friendly and the location can't be beat. We are already planning a family vacation and we will likely stay here again!

The people who run this motel are very super. We stayed here last year. Everything you want in a motel is right here except no pool other then that you would be crazy not to stay here. SO on your next stay in the dells, you would be crazy if you did not stay here. Super choice.

Owner & son- drunk, threatening, out of control. Arrived Sat eve with friends. Owner and his son sit in the corner area of the parking lot drinking and watching all guests. If you do anything such as talking on phone too loud- they come over to you and reprimand you. Its awkwardly creepy.

True event: sitting outside our room chatting this past weekend, a friend had a can of Diet Pepsi with a sip left in the can, she poured it into the hanging flower pot. The owner and son then came over to us and reprimanded us stating it was destruction of property. The angry son was really threatening (Russian accent?) and was absolutely irate over it. Wish I were making this up. It was absolutely bizarre.

The lady you talk to when making a reservation is nice and helpful, but these two, especially the son- make staying here a no no.

There also appears to be families living in the hotel, must be some kind of low-income housing thing? makes it even more uncomfortable to stay there. Its like a housing project.

I cannot even imaging bringing kids here. No way. No way in hell.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Especially if you are female, they do not respect you.
