LOVE. Forget every damn hotel I ever spent money on @ the dells this place is AWESOME. Family of 5 three little kids the double room condo was a life saver. We had so much room and I was able to cook dinner and sit around in a spacious living area to watch a movie with my family I loved everything about Tamarack.

Great affordable lodging for a weekend getaway. Quiet restful sleep for our crew with 4 kids. Close to shopping and attractions. The staff was Great! Will return without hesitation. Activity center was a great amenity. A+👍🖒

Our son rented this place for a week but could only stay a few days so we took the other days that he wasn't there. Noce quiet little place in the winter time but not much to do especially if there's no snow but it was nice to just get away and relax. A word of caution some of the units have a in room whirlpool but the hot water tank doesn't produce enough hot water to fill it

Modest yet lavish accommodations. Comparable to a townhouse apartment with a full service kitchen including lavish amenities such as dishwasher fireplaces and spa tub. Plenty of space. Close to area attractions with out of the way with secured intimate grounds. More guests than I assumed from pictures and Google views. Would definitely recommend. Got a great off season deal.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. Glade 4. We had 2 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. Fully furnished kitchen. Plenty of clean towels and linens. Wanted dryer worked well and was very welcome to keep towels and swim suits cleaned. Overall it's clean and everything works. The condos could use an update. One thing to note we were a bit mislead when booking. THIS PLACE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY WATER PARK OR ATTRACTION. We were told we could get passes to Kalahari with our stay but that was not the case at all. No pass were available and we had to scramble to find passes on New Year's Eve. The activity center is nice and clean. There is an arcade, pool, hot tub, gym, and a racket ball court. They have an area to play family games and cards.
If we came back to the dells we would probably find a hotel/water park to stay at.response / report this review -

Apartment at the resort was amazing. Very spacious rooms, exceptionally cleanly and the staff was always extremely helpful. Could not imagine a better experience. We even received a phone call during the second day to make sure we were doing well. I highly recommend the resort.

Very nice stay. Condo unit was clean and large, nice to have a separate bedroom for the kids in the evening. Nice location close to the craziness of the Dells but not right in the middle. 5 stars for the unit as a hotel on its own. Tempted to give a lower rating because we expected amenities at the activity center but the pool was VERY cloudy all of the 5 days we were there, the indoors play area had no way for the kids to get up to the slides, the outdoor playground was small, the arcade room was working the first day but on the last day when we went back for the kids to redeem their tickets everything was out of order so we just left the tickets in a pile, much to the kids' disappointment, and the only treadmill in the gym was out of order. I think it would be a 5 star overall experience if a tiny bit more $ and TLC was put into upkeep of the activity center. We went in the off-season so had counted on spending some time at the resort having fun but had to change plans when we saw the icky pool etc (we did tell 2 staff members about the pool but they just sort of shrugged). I would definitely stay here again, the condo unit was exceptional which is what I'm giving the 5 star rating for, just don't get too excited about the rest of the place if you're looking for a nice experience for the kids.

Mirror Lake & Tamarack's service and staff are very welcoming and professional. They understand how to properly give customer service making each visit feel unique and wanted. The facilities have arcades, billiards tables, and vending machines. I enjoy using the racquet ball and tennis courts. There is also an outdoor+indoor pool the kids enjoy swimming in. They offer special activities weekly and there's always something to do with the kids. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Kitchen appliances are available and cooking utensils are provided to cook in otherwise unlimited options with eating out being so close to downtown Dells. WiFi is free as guests and they also offer higher speeds for a small charge when you need multiple devices steaming their own shows. AC in each unit and the bathrooms are full of towels with complimentary soaps. All in all, every yearly visit here is great, there's always new things being added when they can do so.

Great place to take small children. Units are clean and well furnished. There's an outdoor and indoor pool. Also an indoor hot tub at the rec center. Small game room and gym, plus racket ball courts. Great place for a family gathering.

I love this place we have been here for several years every summer we come here for a week! I tell everybody I never want to leave TAMARACK! I love you TAMARACK! ;) I have alot to say about this place it will fill a million pages it's that good! Enjoy your time here its worth it and the money!

This resort was perfect for our family. We stayed in the two bedroom condo with our 4 year old and 2 year old. The most important thing for us was to have a quiet place for our little ones to nap and rest in between activities. We had all the amenities we needed to do so. We appreciated the full kitchen and refrigerator so we didn't need to eat out for every meal.
The resort is exactly as close and as far away as it needs to be from all of the action. Everything we did was no more than 10 minutes away. Honestly, my kids would have been happy never leaving the resort. Although the playground, pool and indoor play center were modest, it was all they needed and they were perfectly happy just spending time there.
I would definitely recommend for those who enjoy a quiet and slow-paced vacation. We will be back!response / report this review -

Very nice resort close to the action but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Hummingbird Lake had several kids catching and releasing fish. The activity center staff is most helpful. We were in a 2 bedroom fully furnished unit. The laundry is located in a separate building on site. Very comfortable stay.

Completely outstanding. Facilities are clean and so fun for kids. Room was way more than we thought. Pictures online are outdated. No tube TVs in our room! Just outside of the city and feels rustic but a 5 minute drive to everything. HIGHLY recommend!
