Good staff and event center, would get 5 stars but under renovation. Staff is working hard and sending the hotel in the right direction. Renovations that are done are great.

I reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. When I arrived they had only 1 set up and then only had a room with 1 queen bed left. Though the smaller room should have cost less, all they did was waive the fee for having an extra person in one room. Additionally, the rooms smelled like cigarettes though they were non-smoking. Breakfast had a waffle maker, though, and that was delicious.

With the exception of the limited breakfast(which is only temporary), my stay here was excellent. I was very comfortable in my room and it was clean and very spacious for the price. Five stars

Big fiasco trying to get the rooms we reserved. The desk clerk (who also claimed to be the owner after our party complained and wanted to speak with owner) was unhelpful and obviously did not care that they botched the reservations.

First we were given keys to a room that wasn't cleaned yet and had an incorrect number of beds. Then they gave us keys to the honey moon suite which was completely trashed. There were beer cans and cigarette butts strewn about the room and the bed was a mess with the sheets balled up - it was disgusting. Very rude and incompetent staff with selective English skills - he couldn't understand "one room with 2 beds" but was very quick to tell us "no refund! No discount!"

Stay away from this nasty little hole

It's a trap! For sure don't go. Holiday inn is 7 miles down the road. We went to go check in they lost our reservation then after that got situated we get a room and was told we can't check in until 3pm. We came back at 5pm went to our room and saw that the room is not even ready. Blankets on the floor, piss on the toilet seat, used soap in the shower. They tired to justify it by saying they were busy from a softball game yet barely any cars in the lot

Rooms are inexpensive and well kept. Free breakfast in the morning was decent and a step above mcdonalds across the parking lot. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone visiting the oil city area.

Room 409 was excellent. Wonderful room, clean and odor free. Wonderful memory foam mattress. Three pillows, two firmer, one softer. Towels fine. Front desk was polite during check in and check out. A very fine experience. This was our 3rd trip to Oil City Day's Inn, and all visits were more than satisfactory.

This hotel is terrible plain and simple. The only good thing about this hotel is the beds because they are comfortable! This is in a terrible area so if you have kids make sure you watch them. The breakfast is so bad you shouldn't even bother eating it. The staff is basically non-existent, they are never around. The hotel on the outside looks like it's still in the 70s. The restaurant in the hotel looks like it's been closed for a long time. I could go on forever. This hotel was so bad that a big group of us, had to switch hotels during the trip. Never stay here

The rooms here are perfect for both Jolly July 3rd & Oil City Indie Fest. If you ask front desk at time of reservation for a balcony room which over looks river and pavillion you will have a really cool spot for seeing the festivals including music stage right from your room. The hotel is clean. The bar seems closed most of time? I wish they'd use that bar room as a classy vegas style ball room.

This motel was more than adequate for a place to stay while bicycling on the trail with my daughter. The motel is older but was clean and repainted.

The style is kind of "old modern," as in dated, but not old enough to be quaintbut, I stayed there twice one week (August 2016) and the two rooms they gave me were both absolutely clean, neat, and conscientiously maintained. Better than most I've been to. They also included fridge/freezer, a godsend when you're roadtripping with a cooler, and microwave plus coffeemaker and a separate, easy to access sink area outside the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, as another reviewer said. The breakfast area was nice - standard Days Inn fare to get you started, attended by a real person. Local art and old prints reflecting the region's oil heritage were hung on the walls around the lobby. A real good value, in a very convenient location for exploring the downtown architecture and art or heading up to the state park for oil history. Or if you're just passing through.

The days inn is a nice clean place located almost in the middle of the city with a park right outside the inn. a river running through the park that has a boat launch.I did not get to see the conference room but the rooms are your average hotel room they where very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful not very outgoing but professional.

This hotel is great. The service it top notch. The owner, Bob, is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The TV, the shower, the air conditioning, and other stuff, such as microwave and small refrigerator all work fine in the room. The breakfast is good with some hot stuff offered (scrambled eggs and sausage) as well as standard cereal, fruit, rolls, etc. And the price of the room is very reasonable for what you get! Plus, there is a beautiful park located in front of the hotel along the Allegheny River. Wonderful scenic views and great to take a short walk along the river and enjoy the picturesque setting and the wildlife. To me, this is a no-brainer. This where you stay if you are going to Oil City, PA to do anything. i enjoy the local rail trails and parks.
