Dirty and old. Only good points: Lew fee for pets and available smoking rooms.
Can always get a room the same day at a reasonable rate. Friendly workers and staff.
Monroe Heights was a pleasant surprise considering how inexpensive the stay was. The room itself was no-frills, but comfortable. The bathroom was nicely furnished and clean. When I checked in Kathy at the front desk was friendly and explained when breakfast starts. I think this is my new go-to hotel for staying in Clarion.
Had a great time here, great staff. Always there to help you with your needs.
For the price it was better then expected.
Small rooms, but clean. Staff is friendly. Would stay again
Difficult to rate this place because you get what you pay for, and you don't pay much. The free wifi doesn't reach all of the rooms, the carpet is really worn and feels dirty, pillows are no good, beds are no good, I've been in jail cells bigger than the room I could go on on the upside, the room was dirt cheap and they allow the dog. Just kind of a shame that my worst night's sleep of my vacation is the last night of it while heading home. If you don't care about cleanliness or getting what's advertised, give it a whirl, if you do care, you will be disappointed here.
Very good. Reasonable price. Comfortable room. Great shower. Continental breakfast.
The people at the front desk were very friendly and were willing to accommodate any requests. The rooms were clean but small as expected with a micro hotel. The continental breakfast was adequate with cereal fresh fruit milk orange juice multiple kinds of coffee and other items. Overall a very good value.
A GREAT VALUE ! GOT A GREAT ROOM FOR $44 . SUPER CLEAN, QUIET AND GREAT A/C
The workers at the front desk are nice. New management is starting up, so I'm excited about that. The housekeeping service is okay, but I wish they cleaned the bathroom a little more.
The beds are very comfortable, price is very good, service is good, breakfast is fine, housekeeping is nice= 5 star rating
The rooms are average but the beds are kind of stiff and the pillows are very uncomfortable. there is a ton of rooms for plenty of guests to stay in. I only stayed a brief time for the night.
Decent place for a one night. Our room was pretty muggy feeling but everything was clean and felt clean.
Needed a last minute place to stay during my drive from the Midwest to New England. I was getting tired so my girlfriend picked this place. We picked the wrong date and needed a late checkout since I had to work. The receptionist, Lisa, was more than happy to help sort things out and made our check-in and stay quick and painless. The room we stayed in was good for the price. There are plenty of power sockets on the room to plug in your electronics. Only issue was it was a bit cold in the room almost felt like a draft coming in from outside but there is a ac/heat unit in the room to address it. Free breakfast was sparce but enough to get you going in the morning.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and will consider this location again if I happen to get tired nearby on another drive.
I wish all budget hotels were this nice. This diamond in the rough is right off I-80, is very clean and very comfortable for $50-70 a night. Beds and pillows are super comfy. Soft towels. Would recommend and stay again.
