Our family likes to take roadtrips and we have very realistic expectations of what comes with a hotel priced in the $50, $60, $70, $80, $90, $100, etc we've tried them all simply to better gauge at what point price and cleanliness meet. We have found that the best value for sanitary, relatively comfortable accommodation is usually in the $60-$65 range. We have never gone below $50.
Last night we payed $72 to stay at what, I can only imagine, must be what the below $50 range is like.
The staff must have been hired with no previous experience in hospitality. We called to alert them of our pending late check in and the lady that answered made us repeat everything multiple times before saying she wasn't the front desk then transferring us to another lady who didn't care to listen before saying 'That's fine' and hanging up.
The room smelled like a skunk. I have no idea how that happens but my stomach was instantly upset.
As we got in our beds we noticed that along the edge of the top sheet/blanket fold smelled like some random person's sweaty armpit. It was fortunate for them that we arrived so late and did not have time to request a refund and find another place to stay.
In the morning, after a terrible night's rest, we went for breakfast and found all of the yogurt two days expired. Who knows about the rest of the food offered but we chose to stick with waffles since we could cook that. We told Paul about the yogurt and he said we could 'take it or leave it.'
The pictures online most be of their only renovated rooms and many of the reviews gave 3 stars when they should have given 1. This is an utterly unsanitary place to stay. The staff would do better finding work elsewhere where their ignorant attitudes could be more useful. I can't believe a business can legally offer expired food to customers. Avoid staying here at all costs.
For the most part it had great customer service, nice rooms, a basic breakfast, but I guess when the staff actually cleaned the room they never fully stepped into the bathroom and closed the door( because ours was a bit small) to notice what I believe to be dried up blood drops on the wall
Excellent hotel at a affordable price. The staff were very friendly
Good enough for the price. Clean room and fast Wi-Fi
This place needs to be renovated. Room smelled like smoke. The bathroom was very tight, had hard time turning on the shower. Definitely need new furniture. I couldn't believe the office chair was taped up. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.
Shower constantly lost pressure and heat when people in other rooms used their bathrooms. The bed and room were nice, though.
Clean and neat rooms. Seem to be up to date compare to some I been too
I honestly tried to look for some thing positive to say but I'm at a lost of words. The door to our room wouldn't shut unless you slam it shut. I'm 5'5 & 155lbs & I barely was able to fit in the bathroom. In order to close the bathroom door I had to step behind the toilet. The bathroom width was wide enough for the door to swing open & shut. You can tell smokers have stayed there because there was dried mixture of smoke & water drops coming down off the wall of the bathroom. Our family had to go buy airfreshner & a scented candle for the stell smell from the smoking guest. They should ensure to give a non smoker a non smoker room!! I would only recommend this motel to very young adults & for 1 night only! No families!! We paid for 3 nights! :(
Wish I could leave negative stars! Stay away! Room was disgusting. Smelled like smoke- had to have everything in my luggage dry cleaned. Now I have unauthorized charges on my card from this place- when I called about it they literally yelled at me! Seriously save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere.
