It was dirty and we had to switch rooms twice to have a functioning room. First room had a broken toilet, second room had a broken phone and fridge, which is usually not a big deal, but we needed them. The third room had a dirty floor and the bathroom smelled of pee. At this point it was midnight and we were exhausted and resigned, so we stayed.

The service just was not great. When we were in second room, waiting to be moved, we went back to the office to check how it was going, and we found the man that was helping us just standing there. We reminded him, and he then got on the computer and asked if room 22# would be okay. It gave the impression that he was hoping we'd give up and stay in the second room.

On a side note, they have this small waterfall fountain with koy fish in it. There was a giant fish that the shallow water was not sufficient to submerge completely. Poor thing had his top exposed to air. I told the lady at the desk that it was not right to have that many large fish in that tiny environment. She informed me that they had them for 20 years, and if they weren't happy, they would get sick and die.

Nice no frills hotel. Less expensive than more upscale hotels on the stip. The pool is within small but the,beach is walking distance. Plus, this hotel is central to most of the fun stuff in Destin.

My family and I decided to take a last minute trip to Destin. We decided to stay at the Days Inn Destin as they has availability and it was relatively close to the beach. Little did we know the rooms would be disgusting and filthy. After entering the room I checked the bed linens to see if they were clean. After seeing burn holes in the linens I went to the front desk to request more. Next I decided to take a shower and some of the towels were either gray in color or had large brownish color spots on them as if they weren’t cleaned. My wife and I had to share a towel so I could dry off. This hotel was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We checked in at 5pm and checked out at 3am. We could not stay there any longer.

I wouldn't let my kids shower in our room.yuck!

If you are looking for a clean room at a low price then this is the perfect place. Stayed here 3 nights for spring break and enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is very limited and there are few amenities, but it’s why the price is low. Other guests were mostly families with safety in mind and for a low priced place in Destin this is the ideal hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is nasty, needs updating, nothing in our room worked. I booked a room for two nights. Was there maybe fours hours and left. Drug dealing going on. Complained to the front desk nothing was done. From looking at the other reviews this has been going on. So management has to be aware of this. Bad for business people. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE!!! #shadyashelldrugsnastynotmycupoftea

Worst "continental" breakfast I've ever had. Out of: coffee, milk, eggs, gravy. Finally brought out some gravy and it was ice cold. Had to make my own coffee! And the rudeness of the front desk staff certainly did not make up for it. Rooms were not clean – the bathroom had so much grime in it I took a shower with my sandals on. Would not recommend.

It appears this hotel and customer service clearly needs to take a step up rather than what we received. High priced room for several nights stay that needs plenty of work in comparison to others and we had an infant there with us. Everything was old worn down ripped or not working properly. And we had the best room we were told the suite 301. My husband and I had an emergency with our daughter and had to leave a night early after prepaying and was charged 50.00 cancellation fee. We will not be staying again as we travel thru for nearly 150 a night the quality was only worth half that price!!

Clean room. Great location. Lots of families around Which means kids running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night. Not the Days inn's fault but be aware. Kept us up the first nightand woke us up early the next day (repeat for each day of stay). Room has fridge with freezer and a microwave. Breakfast not too exciting with the highlight being the waffle maker (usually a line).

NEVER STAY HERE! Paid $150 a night for this run down dump. I would rather sleep in my car than stay at this hotel again. The room smelled like smoke from the room next to us. The carpet felt like it had never been cleaned and probably hasn't. I wore my shoes the whole time while in the room including when I took a shower. I didn't even sleep in the beds. Found a curly black hair in the sheets. Wasn't even sure if the bed linens were clean. I never sat in the chairs in the room. Looked filthy. Looks like it doesn't get cleaned very well if at all. I touched as little as possible in the room. The "free" breakfast sucked. People in the pool past 10 p.m. were extremely loud. Nothing good about this hotel. Do yourself a favor and never stay here!

Filthy, Disgusting, Should be Shut down. We stayed in this Hotel just 1 night and I requested to have my money refunded back to me within an hour of being there in the room. Ask for a full refund and desk lady said she could not refund my money or she would be fired. I asked for the Manager on Duty or Owner and she told me they would contact me within a day. Still no phone call. It has now been 4 days without a call and I still don't have my money refunded to me. Also, they will charge your card 3 times the amount.
My family was so grossed out about this place they had spent the night in the car instead.Cigarette burns everywhere, bathroom never looked like it was cleaned, EVER. The bottom of my socks turned black from walking on the floor for 10 min, so I slept with my shoes on instead, Hookers were outside our room taking pictures of themselves, and I even saw a drug deal going down outside. BEWARE, Do not waste your time or money with this Hotel just keep driving. I would give negative stars if I could.

Not the greatest location due to the only exit only being able to turn right, on a busy street with no stop lights near unless pedestrians come up. Rooms are well regulated temperature wise. Beds are okay and customer service was pretty good. Showers are mediocre.
