The lobby was kept clean and is updated. Everything past the lobby was outdated but do-able. They are doing upgrades to the onsite restaurant. Construction outside made it difficult to enjoy the sound of the ocean like you’d hope. I know the on-site restaurant would be closed during my trip. However, it was disappointing to not have the outside bar open. You’ll need to drive to most places to eat or drink and getting in and out of the property is difficult with traffic. My room 714 was nice, had some upgrades. The bedroom carpet however was disgusting with large stains and after the “carpet powered” wore off there was definitely a smell coming from it. Beach was beautiful, of course.

This is a great resort but if you stay check out the rooms first. Each room for the most part is owned separately so the owners standards are all different. We stayed in 2 rooms and pride of ownership varied between rooms. The resort itself is great and the view amazing. The beach with the white sand is a true experience..You will love it

Best choice ever! The entire place is very clean! I was so excited to see a full furnished kitchen with dishes AND A DISHWASHER! They also have the broom and mop so if you needed to sweep up sand etc its avl which was nice being that I have kids. Everyone that works here is very friendly and the view is absolutely amazing! I will be back! Furniture was very nice and comfy and felt like home. Peaceful no teenagers screaming and hollering so it was relaxing.

I've always enjoyed my stay here at Sundestin. This year was different. I'm on my fourth day here and each day I spend listening to constant loud noises. I called day 1-3 asking if the room above me was possibly some type of work room - as there was constant pounding as furniture moving, loud knocking noise, and constant movement. The front desk once stated that they would have security go up and take a look. I didn't hear back. Another time someone from the front desk shared that it was spring break and most likely kids. Again I shared that this was a different noise as work/some type of loud work or maintenance going on. I wish the front desk would have acknowledged the noise/work instead of continuing to tell me it was guest in a room above me. Room 317.

Stayed here April 2017. Customer service was amazing. We (embarrassingly) left behind a firearm in our room and the manager went above and beyond to secure it and ship it to us. And he was extremely friendly and kind through it all- even though it was a completely dumb thing we did. Besides that, the room was excellent!!! Clean, comfortable, amazing view. White soft sand beach. Kids loved the splash pad!! Would stay here again for sure!!

Usually staff at a resort like this is exemplary but Briana Craig who served on Friday night as we arrived did not make us feel welcome. Then, we had to call service because our air conditioning did not work in the room and they brought us two box fans and would not move our locale. We had to go down to the front desk middle of the day to ensure that they intended to work on the air conditioning which they fixed. A whole day and a half without a/c in Florida and they did not compensate for our trouble. Disappointed. Location was great but resort was run down and it doesn't appear to be any modernization attempts.

The view was incredible! The shower was nice, the furniture decent. They had games, which my daughter loved. With that said, the bed squeaked terribly, the bathroom smelled like urine, the place wasn't squeaky clean, doors were old and noisy, construction was going on above us during the day, one day for 3-4 hours they were testing the fire alarms.very inconvenient and scared my daughter, foot wash off not connected by the beach exit the first 2 days of our trip, kitchen amenities were lacking. Hard to relax when listening to a jack hammer every day.

We arrived Sunday evening and the staff was very friendly. The views were great and it being right on the beach was a definite plus. However the rooms were very rundown, one of the toilets didn't flush, our sheets were dirty, the sliding doors didn't work, and a lot of other things that needed to be taken care of. We were supposed to leave Friday morning, but Thursday night as we were laying in bed my husband seen something crawling across our kitchen floor from the BEDROOM. We got up and there was a huge cockroach crawling around. The staff called in a "palmetto bug" but if you google palmetto bug it brings up the American cockroach. Just another name for it. The service was great, but the quality of the condominium is very poor. We will not be returning.

We are actually on our way home from a weekend of fun at Sundestin. Most everything was wonderful!!! The amenities were great, loved the pools, and the beach view was amazing!!! The reason for only 4 stars is that our refrigerator did not keep our food cold. We called the front desk and they sent someone to check it out. He said it was fine, when indeed it was not. Our daughter is on an anti-biotic that needed to stay cold. We bought a TON of groceries so we could stay on site, and just run up for a quick sandwich or some ice cream for a snack. We ended up eating out everyday and spending hundreds of dollars we were not planning to spend on food (plus we lost money on the food we bought). We stayed in unit 0909. We will in fact be back, we will just make sure we request a room with a working refrigerator. Other than that, wonderful 1st family beach vacation!

Lobby and amenities are great. Chairs and beach side bar service during season is an awesome thing to have. Tons of fresh linens. 812 room left a bit to be desired though. No washer/dryer in room.

Wonderful condo resort with wonderful people working here. We're a bit surprised that a chair and umbrella set would be $35 a day and anything else you want to do like kayaking cost lots of money too. But other than that we've been very happy

The lobby looked great but the rest of the hotel could use some updating. If you want a room with an ocean view you better clarify that several times before you get there. I booked 9 months in advance and my view was the hotel next door. The hotel store closes at an inconvenience time. And I'm not sure how safe it is for them to vent the dryer into the major indoor hall. We would get lint on us as we walked by when the dryer was running. Be prepared to get nickel and dimmed to death. Every thing is an extra. They also set up their hotel chairs and umbrella all along the shore so you either have to pay to use theirs or there's no change of sitting by the water. Don't even think about using your own umbrella, they will ask you to take it down. I would not stay here again.

Very nice place to stay; right on the beach. High rise one bedroom, one and a half bath condo, including a furnished kitchen and private balcony. Within a mile of great restaurants on the waterfront: (seafood and steaks); including nearby shops AND fresh fish. Great place, great view and great food; what more could you want!

The room is very nice, I'm staying here on vacation with my mother. The beach is right it the back of the hotel and it looks wonderful. The lobby looks real great, but I feel like I'm going to get stabbed walking down the floor hallways to get to my room. Besides that, this place is great.

This place is in a great location and the beach is beautiful. Our room #302 was nicely updated but there wasn't enough closet space for 4 people. Only 1 towel bar in each bathroom area. Felt like we never had a dry towel. Could use hooks outside on the balcony to hang beach towels. The biggest problem we had was the smoking issue. You should be allowed to smoke one balcony! They do have a designated smoking area, however, it's out in the open(we had a tropical storm while we were there) and is right next to the children's play area! They need to rethink this policy. I understand not smoking inside the unit, but come on. The balcony is outside! We will not stay here again!
