The location was very convenient to stone mountain. It made visiting there all day great cause the drive back to shower and sleep felt like 5 min. The free breakfast was cereal and fruit both mornings we went down to it. The room was not very clean. The carpet is really nasty and the bathroom was falling apart. The shower curtain was torn in several places so water got all over the floor. It was great in location but the rooms badly need updated.

One of the better motels we've stayed. Room appeared clean but still had that water damaged musty smell. Was a mix up checking in and the front desk assigned us a room that was either already taken or had not been cleaned yet. It was 8 o'clock at night. It was also a smoking room when we reserved a non smoking room. Instead of just apologizing or just assigning us a new room, since it was a smoking room AND dirty, the girl at the front desk wanted to argue about it. Thats the main reason for a low rating.

Very nice staff and room was CLEAN. We have stayed at several hotels in the Stone Mountain area do to work over the past few years and this hotel is by far superior to any other one we've stayed at. Wish we would've found it sooner. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. We will be back next year!

We picked this hotel because the location and price were right. Staff was helpful and comfort level is decent. The lobby looks aged. Breakfast starts at 6 but only during the week--it's 7 on the weekend. There's a swimming pool outside. The pillows were fluffy. The water gets hot and cold but has kind of a hair trigger--a quick nudge may get you from cold water to blistering heat. WiFi is included, but there are no USB plug-ins in the rooms. Overall it met our needs for a night near Stone Mountain.

The Days Inn Atlanta Stone Mountain was a perfectly serviceable budget hotel. It wasn't the most comfortable place I've lain my head this year, but it was clean, the hot water was hot, and staff was friendly helpful in providing extra towels. We didn't try the pool. Breakfast isn't until 7 on the weekends. If you're an early riser or looking to get on the road, there's a dunkin donuts directly in front of the hotel and it's not far to waffle house, ihop, or several other breakfast spots. Otherwise, there are lots of nearby restaurants, and stone mountain is a five-minute car ride away. It's in a great location, reasonably-priced, and clean. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a reasonable deal in the stone mountain area, it's not bad at all.

This place was built in 1989 and it shows thru the weathering of the paint. Could use a detail very soon. I have to give this place 5 stars because the clean up crew is very thorough and will come back a 2nd or 3rd time to check if you need your room cleaned.

Bad communicate between staff. Manager was going to give our room away because he was not told we were there that morning. We had an extended check out time till 1pm. They started knocking on our door at 8 am. Didn't have our rooms ready till 5 15 pa. Check in is at 3. Lady at front desk didn't inform worker we had a late check out. Found a Corona beer behind bathroom door. So don't think floor was mopped

I enjoyed my stay. It was close to where I needed to go & I had no issues. Which is rare, I might add.

Dated but clean! Front desk staff is very polite! This hotel has very nice new pillow top mattress that sleeps like a dream. Bed is high up from floor even for me being 5'9" so a shorter person may find some issues with this.. Housekeeping staff are wonderful. This hotel is very easy on my pockets! Will continue to come here!🤗

BED BUGS! Bad experience. My husband is an commercial exterminator, so when we stay in hotels he always checks the room before we move in. When we checked in on 12/30/16and he checked the room he discovered a LIVE bedbug. He wouldn't let us move our stuff into the room and I immediately took the bed bug in a cup to show the front desk. The girl at the front desk was equally appalled but the only rooms available were adjoining to the room with bedbugs and my husband said that they would need to be treated too. We live in a different state so he could not treat it and was not trying to sell a service. The manager would not let us have our money back till he inspected the room but refused to come in till the next morning. My children at this point had fallen asleep in the car and we refused to stay in a room with live bugs. We left and found another hotel. They still charged our credit card even though we didn't stay. We had our credit card company dispute it but the management sent in paperwork where we had signed in and told the credit card company we stayed all three days and they saw NO bedbugs. I KNOW THE FRONT DESK DID BECAUSE I TOOK THE LIVE BUG TO THEM TO SHOW THEM! Had to pay twice as much to stay in another hotel and they still want to charge us for nights we DID NOT STAY. Did not review previously because bed bugs are generally not a hotel's fault. They are brought in by people staying. However, the way the management has handled the situation after is inexcusable and shows they obviously have not tried to do anything about the problem.

Do NOT stay at this motel! We were guaranteed an early checkin and upon arrival they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. The front desk argued with us at which time we asked to speak to management. Guess whatmanagement was not there! They had to call a manager at which point we were given a twin room, we had booked a King. Once we got to our room there were disgusting stains on the carpet and electrical outlets hanging out of the wall. Plus the fridge looked straight out of 1980. The front desk was rude and unapologetic. This motel is VERY seedy and located in a rundown area of town. We decided to forgo our stay at this trash dump, yet they would not refund our money. One star is one star too many.
