Service is fantastic and lobby looks well decorated. But once you get on the elevator, you could see the age of the hotel. The hotel room looks like a starter college apartment, that can use a refreshed touch. Shower drain was slow to drain. Bed frame is way too low. Saw a cockroach in the cabinet above the coffeemaker and mini fridge. Ugh.
Crappy hotel even for the price. First room smelled nasty as soon as I opened the door. Smelled like marijuana and who knows what else very strongly. Immediately called and asked for a different room. Second room doesn't smell as bad but still not pleasant. Looks way way better in pictures. Pretty sure they bought a nasty old hotel slapped a coat of paint on it and put cheap mattresses in the room. I have stayed at nicer Motel 6's. Definitely would not stay here again
Really not worth it.. this place wasn’t terribly cheap but the rooms are roadside motel standard. Skip this place and get yourself a decent hotel or even a good hostel. Also, if you’ve got a car, they charge over $30 per night for parking.
It was extremely convenient. Drop off keys and wait for shuttle to airport. On the return we texted once we were ready for pick up and they were extremely quick and efficient. They helped moving the luggage in and out of shuttle and your car. I will definitely use them again. The drivers were friendly and understand sense of urgency.
Wedding party stayed there for my wedding nearby. They had a rough start with the planning but eventually made it to. Camerina, sales manager, was great and worked hard to make it perfect. However, I called the front desk on my wedding day to make sure the room was cleaned up before we came back and they failed to do it while we were at the wedding. Simple request that they failed to follow through on.
I started in a 2 bedroom suite. It was literally like 2 individual rooms turned into a suite. The staff was so friendly, I can't give this place less than 5 stars. Shuttle was quick to pick up at LAX.
Eerie and dingy. Rooms need to be updated. Shower is dirty. Staff is very friendly and professional though. Decent view. I was trying to decide between this and a days inn last night, should have gone to the days inn to save $30 for same quality.
It's a great hotel for a drunk 21 year old who has never stay in a hotel. Rooms are very small with a small bedroom window. When we got in late night, our heater didn't work. Good Italian restaurant across the street though. Beds are uncomfortable, but the pillows have to be the worst part of our stay. Couldn't take a shower in the morning because the water wouldn't drain. Just wanted to get out!!!
Airport shuttle, price, and friendly service is a plus here but the building and room seemed a bit run down. Our room didn't smell or feel clean. Not sure what theme they are going with either. Cosmic bowling maybe. Would stay here again but only because it's close to the airport and cheap and only if its for one night.
We got in pretty late after a flight, the first room we were booked seemed slept in but front desk rectified things pretty quickly and seemingly upgraded. The bed and sheets were really comfortable. This place is weirdly upscale in some cases and not in others. For a semi cheaper place close to LAX to stay it worked for my wife and I. Free shuttle to the airport was really helpful clean and spacious.
Staff was wonderful. Accommodated early arrival with no issues. Renovated room was comfortable and in good condition. Older property but updated and maintained. Would definitely stay again.
Although I found the room to be blah, I really had a great time staying here for a weekend wedding. It was too cold to see the roof deck in full swing but I am sure it is great time in the warm weather. What a pleasant surprise to go to the hotel restaurant and have the best brunch of my life!
Would gladly stay again.
We were forced to stay in La after missing a flight on a return from Australia. I called the hotel and they were willing to let us do an early check in at 10 in the morning which is typically unheard of by most hotels. The woman on the phone was so nice and so helpful and she immediately dispatched a van to pick us up from the airport after a long long flight. The rooms were nice and clean the beds were comfortable and they had nice pillows which is a must for me. It's very close to the airport and they have a shuttle which starts early in the morning and is included no fee. I would recommend this hotel if you need to be close to the airport.
In A Nutshell:
*Wow, this was a great find and cool place to stay in L.A.
*The location was excellent: not in a busy area, next to a supermarket, quiet location.
*The decor was hip and trendy and the clientele was either foreign tourists, hipsters or LAX travelers.
*The price was super cheap $85 for single bed or $100 for a double.
*They are PET-FRIENDLY and my two pups were more than delighted to chill on the 3rd floor.
Overall, I bookmarked this place and plan to come and stay again. VERY EXCELLENT LOCATION, SERVICE and PRICE POINT.
