Great hotel. Really good neighborhood obviously, and lots to see around the hotel. The hotel itself has a good bar / club. Only downside is that it gets very loud at night so not really a place to head to for some quiet relaxation.
Honestly I have had some of my best experiences here at this hotel. Daniel over of the valley managers/supervisors are one of the reasons I still choose to stay here. Don't get me wrong the hotel is clean and the team overall is amazing but the level of service Daniel provides each time I arrive has been stellar. He's a great addition to the w Hollywood and I want to acknowledge him.
I like the stars I saw some celebrities and loved the view from our room. Good food. Nice people. Everyone was so helpful. Will recommend this to my friends and family
The hotel is pretty clean. Some spots could be better. I've actually been given a dirty room and also had to wait a hour for my room to be ready (it was 6p on check-in day). The rooms are more.on the trendy side if you like that kind of thing. The gym is nice and location is ideal. I would potentially stay at another property, but I prefer to use Marriott and Starwood properties.
On our way to a show, we stopped by the W hoping to hit the rooftop bar. It was closed on a Friday night despite great weather (in October). We settled into the bar on the ground floor patio and noshed on tasty halibut ceviche that came to us hardly two minutes after we ordered. The bar tender mixed great martinis w vodka choices. Overall good, but we really hoped for views from the roof.
Outstanding Hollywood themed hotel. The hotel is beautiful. Every possible amenity is taken care of. So many luxuries in the rooms, comfortable beds, rain showers, snacks, drinks, 24 HR room service and a great window bed. This hotel is right on Hollywood's Walk of Fame adjacent tio Hollywood and Vine. The details in the art and decorating are exquisite. I will return for sure.
I have stayed here 3 times, usually a week yearly. The staff is conscientious and attentive. Love the outdoor bar. The rooms are great and love the nap on the window. The rooms are quite clean. Styling staff should be commended.
Night pool party review NOT hotel. Water was murky but you can't blame management, after all it's a party. Drinks go for around $12. Place wasn't too crowded and it has 2 areas, indoors with AC and outdoors with 2 levels. There are about 4 different bars, so plenty of spots to get your drinks. I wouldn't pay the $20 the same night at the entrance. Just do some online research and you get tickets before for $1 per person. Plenty of tables and beds with bottle Service. I would like to see it during the day too Music was good
Love the pool parties they throw! Such a great view of the city. Love coming time and time again! Great service from the staff.. Kevin with security was really helpful with people that were being loud and obnoxious and got me a better seat. Funny thing is that there is another Kevin at the bar ha ha! He was also really good that guy knows his drinks!
Went to a show there and had a great night. The band and music was cool. I liked the mood and lights in the bar/club and also the nice view from the patio
The lobby was beautiful but seemed small (maybe just because of all the oversized decor/furniture). The room was elaborate on the 11th floor and I would definitively return.
Very friendly and courteous staff, always there to help but never overbearing. Good food, nice place It's hard to find anything to complain about :)
Busy hotel, with rooms that are bright but nothing particularly spectacular. Location will be better when the building work has completed next door, but the hotel is mostly surrounded by cheap stores, and is a taxi ride from anywhere you want to be. The lobby bar is a good place to catch up with friends, but frequently used for events; the rooftop bar is nicer. I was expecting a more premium experience, to be honest, but it's fine for a stay in LA.
Rooftop dance floor was pretty good. Had good time. Music was good. Drinks were priced reasonably. Need to impose strict dress code though
