Nice hotel in Crystal City. Five minutes from the airport. Courtesy shuttle available and good restaurant inside the hotel. Other good restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza Washington Natl Airport for work. Nice hotel situated in a very central area, easy access to multiple bars and restaurants. Its about 3 block from Pentagon City Mall, short walking distance. Hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable.

The room is clean and comfortable, the carpet worn and aged. The mini-fridge is nice, but there's no microwave. The $14 breakfast buffet is pretty good, though expensive. The internet connection comes and goes, even when in the same location, and with 5 bars. The building is a dead spot for text. Sending Verizon text requires me to leave the building or press the phone against a window, even though the phone shows 4g and 5 bars.

Only been here one night so may change but I really like the room. The hotel is just a metro ride away and can get where you want by walking through the underground mall to the metro stop. Overall fairly inexpensive place to stay.

Really loved this fantastic experience. Quiet, without the commotion and large conferences of the Hyatt and Mariott. Incredibly helpful attentive staff. Reasonable breakfast and room service prices! I even bumped into fascinating people at the Potomac bar. The room was amazing and nothing was ever difficult. Location was fantastic and everything I needed was walkable. Prices were ridiculously reasonable for such a classy place. Check-in was quick. Everything seemed organized without infringing on your space. Fitness room is adequate. Late check out was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would easily do it again.
I must mention that the shuttle was quite late when I first arrived (only sharing that in case it is a regular issue) but otherwiseawesome.response / report this review -

Love this hotel. Staff always is friendly and goes above and beyond to keep guests happy. Rooms are always clean and stocked with fresh towels. Hotel offers a shuttle service and has a Starbucks inside.

Booked over a month before arriving and once I did arrive at the hotel I was notified the hotel had overbooked and I did not have a room. They did put me up in their sister hotel, the Holiday Inn, which is about a mile away. Wow, does one mile make a difference. Forced to pay the same price but the Holiday Inn is a much older building. Granted the staff were very friendly, but they understood that these two hotels are NOT the same quality. More importantly, instead of the many quaint little shops and eateries near the Crowne Plaza the ones near the Holiday Inn are 1-2 star restaurants at best. The bonus (sarcasm), besides all the homeless people near this hotel is the seedy strip joint. Without a vehicle, walking in this area is not ideal and did not feel safe. I was finally able to get into the Crowne Plaza the night before my trip ended and it was much better. The area around this hotel is fantastic, but beware the "bait and switch". Sadly I will not be staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel in the future. Again, the hotel is nice but I can't trust I won't get booted again because of their overbooking issues. I will be taking my business to the other very nice hotels in this same area and I will steer away from the area around their sister hotel.

Mistakenly booked this hotel instead of the nearby Old Town location. Checked in at the Old Town location with no issues. Days later realized I was charged a $233 no show fee from the airport location. Naturally I requested a refund, or even credit to use towards a future stay, and was turned down. Disappointing treatment of a Gold Level IHG Rewards member.

Convenient shuttle service and friendly reception. Rooms are good-sized and attractive, but slightly dirty (we had a dirty chair and some dust, but the bathroom, beds and bedding were very clean). Overall, rooms are quiet and comfortable. The fitness center has free weights and cardio equipment.

The staff are great and the rooms are clean! Everything looks tidy and very organized. This hotel is very accessible to the mall and other offices as well as to the transportation services. You could not find a safe place to stay around this area and to top it off the airport is 9 minutes away only. Accessibility is the key along with the decent pricing of its accommodations. I will stay again here the next time visit DC. What a great place to stay, enjoy and relax!

This was a family trip of 24 to the White House!! After a full long day , me and my 5 year old daughter were ready to check in to the Crowne Plaza Crystal City!! It has been the best experience in a very very long time. After being Homeless as a single mother and now having a New Beginning with a new job and daughter in private school in Richmond VA. This trip and stay at the Crowne Plaza was a great experience as well as a first real mini vacation for my daughter and I! As a IHG Rewards Member through Holiday Inn Hotels, I was able to get the best deal for my purse at this time in my life. I booked my room the day before and my accommodations for a quiet room and area were met as well as parking right on site. For $21.00 you can't beat it, as this hotel is located near Pentagon City Mall walking distance & wonderful restaurants. The reception and check in was great and explained & listened to my requests and questions. The room is a wonderful relaxing room with a beautiful bathroom that may be a little small but was clean and the real marble, tile and porcelain made me feel special. I could go on & on but all I can say is I look forward to staying here again very soon as I will be traveling back & forth to visit for leisure and business. Now I have a home away from home. Thanks Crowne Plaza Hotel Crystal City! From a Single Mom!
