Concierge is difficult to locate! Staff could be more friendly. Else, this is a typical 4-star New York City hotel. Won't go wrong booking a night or two here. For economy travellers though there are better and cheaper places available in New York City

Stayed here for a week in September and really enjoyed it. Staff pleasant and helpful, beds and rooms large and clean. They gave you fresh toiletries each day even if you hadn't used them so had a little treasure trove by end of stay! Excellent location

Blazing hot rooms in the winter. With the air circulation on and heat off, it was a balmy 76 degrees at night. A window can be opened to cool off the room so you have a chance to sleep that night, but maid service closed ours after leaving it open that morning. If you plan to sleep with the window open, be prepared for lots of sirens: both police because NYC and fire as the station is less than a block away.
Aside from the heat, the bathrooms show a lot of wear. The toilet paper holder was barely clinging to the wall and the last bathtub vinyl coating is peeling away.
On the plus side, the downstairs restaurant is great.

We visited the Crown Plaza Times Square for the weekend. The trip was fantastic.

The stay started with a complimentary upgrade to a corner room with a great view of the city. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

If we make it back the New York City, I'm certain that we'd stay at the Crown Plaza again. Thanks for helping to make our trip so enjoyable!

Employees here were amazing! Great service. Room was clean and our maid even tidied up every day for us. My only negative is that we could not turn the air on. Room was way too warm. They opened the window for us, but it never got below 73 degrees in the room. That is too warm for sleeping!! My daughter and I are both sick as we return home because of this. We were told that heat was the only option since the hotel was running heat. Never had this issue at a hotel before. Must be an NYC thing because all the shops were super hot too. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving.

Located by times square, you might get lucky and get a times square view room! We initially had issues with our room, but after some communication with managers, they were all resolved to my satisfaction. Fridge not in rooms by default, something to keep in mind if it's a must for you. Generally speaking, staff are pleasant enough.

The hotel was adequate. No refrigerator and my toilet only flushed every other flush. The bed was comfortable and the lobby area was nice. Great location.

Hotel is in a great location. Staff really friendly. We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. Not once our bed sheets were changed although we asked to be changed twice. We could tell with a pen stain on our sheets. Hotel charges a service fee for the pool and gym $30 US a day. The pool looks like a dirty bath and we didn't use the gym once. So becarful when booking and ask if any extra fees.

I made a date error when booking a last-minute reservation. The reserved date fell therefore outside the normal cancellation period. By policy, the hotel management stood their ground, took my money, and gave me nothing. In other words, I paid over $250 for nothing, because the hotel was not kind enough to allow for human error. Now any return is unlikely. Whatever was gained by the hotel in the short-term, may have erased the possibility for a greater return - and a positive relationship - in the long-term. Really sad. Don't agree? Consider this: The booking app, which did nothing wrong, gave me a gift card to say sorry for the behavior of the hotel. Now that's customer service that is worth emulating.

Booked 3 rooms. Got here at 6pm. One room wasn't ready. The first room we went in had a bad a/c and it smelled horrible like someone took a bath in baby powder. The second room was fine. 2 hours later they still cannot fix the smell and they never called on the third room. I finally go back to front desk get my third room and the key reader on the door is broken. Now I still only have 1 functional room and I am paying for 3. Completely awful. I travel for business and this is worse than most third rate hotels in the middle of nowhere.

Had a great stay a few weeks ago. For being right in Times Square, the room was surprisingly quiet. We were next to laundry service, so it smelled amazing in the hall! The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view of the city and water. We could watch boats going in and out all day (if we weren't busy catching all the other sights and sounds of Manhattan). We will definitely stay here again.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Checked in on Saturday the 22nd of April at around 11pm flight from Florida for business. Unfortunately the premium room I paid for over two weeks ago was oversold and was told "sorry here goes a 50% off breakfast voucher" needless to say I was annoyed but after a long and late night flight I was ready to get freshened up with my wife and go enjoy the city. As soon as we entered the room the phone was ringing and the front desk proceeded to tell us we wouldn't have any hot wanted until afternoon the next day???? Seriously this is supposedly a 4 star hotel in the heart of Time square??? Ridiculous and to wait until I get to the room knowing that after I didn't get what you charged me for now I'm unable to use the shower/bath?? No apologies, no resolutions, and apparently no manager to help resolve any issues. Very sad and as a frequent visitor to the city for business will never step foot in here again

Best hotel experience of my life. Hands down. Freddy at the front desk literally made my whole trip extra special for my four year old and me. The place was immaculate and the view was spectacular. Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Lived up to expectations. Way way way overpriced, but that's to be expected in this area Two double bed room was good size for Manhattan. Free in-room Lavazza single serve coffee was nice. Bathroom is nothing special with smallish counter and tub/shower combo. Location was great with easy access to two subway lines, Times Square, restaurants and convenience stores. Pretty pleased on the whole.

Beautiful view, friendly and courteous staff. This place was very clean. The most important attribute was location, location, location. Walked out the door to literally all the fun Times Square has to offer. Will definitely be staying in this hotel again. Im actually booking a room right now.
