Not bad for the price. If you are not squeamish about walking up to the 5th floor (Exercise, dammit! ALL mobile people should use stairwells!), and ducking past the exciting cages with Chinese zombies on the 4th floor. (seriously- they're harmless).
Your room is basically a closet. What more do you want in the middle of Manhattan / center of Chinatown and little Italy! ? TV or a window is optional.
BUT! The bathrooms need fixing! One had a drip right over the toilet!

That hotel is awful. There are cockroaches in the lobby, we found a spider in our bed, the towels they provide are dirty, there are only 2 bathrooms for 20 bedrooms. Also, there are no walls, just partitions between the rooms so you can hear all the other travelers. Plus, we had made a reservation on the internet and provided our credit card information as a guarantee but the reception said they don't have our reservation. If I had known, I would have ran away right away. That hotel is dirty and noisy, I don't recommend it at all.

Very small rooms, though good location.

You get what you pay for..
And what I got, was a dirty cot in a wooden make shift frame attached to the wall, a couple of coat hangers, a "closet".. And I use the term loosely..
All in an area about 3'x'10', complete with chicken wire as a "ceiling" under the actual floor ceiling that houses the central air cooling/heating system.
The walls are little more than glorified dividers, and you can clearly hear other guests snoring, eating, talking, etc..
I found blonde hair on my sheets, and pillow.
The bathrooms are nothing less than disgusting, with broken-to-no-door handles.
Leaks coming from above, dirty stalls, toilets barely flush.
I'm amazed this place even bills itself as a hotel.
But, to be fair. It offers a roof, and place to crash for those on a budget.
But next time I'm in NYC, I'm going to treat myself to an actual nice hotel where I'm not being monitored, and where I can actually use elevators.
And where everything is actually clean, safe, and sanitary.I owe it to myself.

If you are not picky and just wanted somewhere to stay and don't want to pay a lot then this is the alternative. Still not a bad place to stay. Cheap alternative to the nearby Wyndham garden hotel but you can still run over and sample their bar or munchies 😁

Bed bugs in one girls room turned me off from this place, the bottom floor looks really nice but the upper guys "dorm" areas are stuffy way too cluttered and just old out dated. They staff is nice and try to keep it clean but the place itself isn't. If they do upgrades and hopefully control pests etc than it would be set.

So the room was a hostel (own room but all you have is a bed and the room only about a foot wider than the bed). It was fine. However my family was somewhat uncomfortable staying there. I didn't stay any of night there. I tried to get a refund--they said no which is understandable because I used my room for two days (even though I didn't sleep in it). However, I checked out a day early and they didn't give me credit for the day I didn't use. The salespeople were rude and said because I checked out a hour late (but my room was untouched so they would not have to clean it) they would have to charge me for the whole day. Front office staff wouldn't even meet me halfway when I tried to compromise I was just told I paid for three days so they would charge me for it.

Also there is no air conditioning (unless you count a pathetic fan) and no tv. I don't know if the owners wrote the description but I wouldn't put it past the people to straight up lie

I always love my stay at Sun Bright hotels. This was no exception. The hotel is located in a very convenient downtown location in the Financial District. There were fresh fruit baskets during the day in the lobby with some fruit infused water. Clean and comfortable rooms Cloud-like pillows and beds I can sink into. A nice clean gym with pretty up-to-date machines. I was very happy that we stayed here.
