Room was very comfy, clean, and modern. Upkeep seemed very good throughout the hotel. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast (nothing special). Not the easiest entrance to the hotel, by car I had to circle around the building to figure out the correct way in.
Its no Crowne. Should be named old Holiday Inn without Atlanta Airport in the name. Staff is decent. It's clean, but very run down specially for the prices. Parking $14 per day as a Hotel patron. I guess you can't expect to much more it is Atlanta
The staff at the Crowne Plaza were so kind. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would recommend this hotel for company meetings and to anyone who needed to stay near the airport. There are also great dining options within walking distance.
I've never actually stayed here, only used their parking shuttle service. It's a remarkable value that comes with service with a smile. It cost a FRACTION of what it would cost to park at the airport. The shuttles run fast and furious, but unlike other are hotels, they drive safely. The desk staff are quick to give you your code and you are on your way. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a parking spot. Book early - as they fill up quick. Oh and it's safe, been there 10+ times without a single issue. Go for it! You will like it!
Nice hotel. If you have time, a stroll through the neighborhood is well worth it. Lots of change occuring in the residential area just behind the hotel.
Was here for a work conference. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds and plenty of pillows! The bar in the restaurant is always serving up something yummy. The food was delicious and the drinks were cold. Would recommend to anyone and if I'm in the area will definitely stay here again.
Stayed here multiple times and love it. It's a great hotel near the airport with a larger parking lot that's secured. Great friendly staff and decent rooms. Will absolutely stay here again.
The rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was great. Customer Services was excellent. The gym is beautifully upgraded and excluded from the hotel was perfect. People are not walking by watching you workout.
The fact they took parking off our bill was great. There was a problem with the gates every time it was time for us to leave and the cards that was given to us was not working to well, actually made us late for the event we were going to. At checkout time we let them know and they took care of it with no problem.
The pool needs work, it looks boring, pool is tiny, not enough scenery, just need more. They should consider an upgrade for the pool area.
Overall good visit.
Very inviting lobby on arrival. Great proximity to airport and Delta buildings. Rooms are starting to show age though, especially the bathrooms. Staff very accommodating. Parking rates are reasonable at $14/night. Although the lot fills up pretty early though.
Unfortunately I cannot say that this hotel is exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and I love the fact that each bed had four plushy comfortable pillows on them but the appearance of the linens were very poor.
The sheets appeared to be clean but one set appeared to have an old stain and a couple of the pillows on the other set had a pink substance that did get on my skin. I couldn't determine where this substance came from but did not use that pillow any further.
The other issue that I found interesting was that one of the towels although clean had a hole in it and was completely frayed at the end. It was clearly worn out and I couldn't understand why any hotel staff could not see this as an issue and understand how the appearance of worn linens could easily affect the quality of the hotel and the service it provides. The window curtain also had a very noticeable stain on it that was a distraction upon initial glance.
I most likely wouldn't stay at this hotel again unless it was the only one available in the area. They clearly don't take the appearance of their rooms very seriously.
Unsafe at any speed!!! Don't stay here if you value your life!!!. The property is run down, the rooms smell awful. (We tried two rooms before we realized it's just the way it smells). It's like a bunch of old smoking rooms were converted to non smoking rooms. In addition, the staff is unprofessional, racist, and they look like they were dressed by a homeless shelter. Even though my room was prepaid in advance, they charged my card the full price of the room, meaning I paid for the room twice. However, most importantly, this place is NOT SAFE!
The only positive experience during my weekend stay was the valet service. The room was covered in dust, gunk was stuck on the bathroom floor. In the hallway, there were glasses that had been left, presumably by a patron, The drinking glasses were in the hall for as long as my stay. They might still be there, sitting on the 7th floor.I noticed the cleaning crew bypass those cups at least 2 times. I was there for a conference and the meals were provided by the crown plaza, the food was sub par, some of the waiters were borderline rude and there was absolutely no refilling of any water or tea glasses. When I had first arrived, I informed the receptionist that my stay had been taken care of by a friend, and yet I was instructed to authorize my credit card. I later spoke with my friend and found out that she had filled out a special form with all her info that should have taken care of the bill. When I went back to the front desk, they were curt and unapologetic. I will never be back.
Located near the airport it is convenient. Rooms are older, refrigerators are available for an additional charge, microwaves are centrally located. My shower had too much water pressure and would routinely fill the bathroom floor. Safe is located at the front desk and not in the room. The bar is nice and the food is pretty good so it's got that going for it.
Real hotel experience. You're not just paying for a room. And for the price, I think their service, both concierge and other hospitality methods were top notch. The staff was friendly and you can tell they are focused on their customer's experience. I would recommend this place as a great place to stay when visiting the Atlanta area.
