The owners were very rude and ended up actually shouting at us at one point. Rules for the campground were not enforced as there was dog poop all over the place that had not been picked up. Also, during our time there the trash was not emptied and everyone in our section had bags and bags of trash piled next to the cans in their campsites. After the way we were treated those folks will never get another penny of my money. We moved to another campground as quickly as we could.
Hands down the absolute best campground I've ever stayed at. Large mostly level spots, clean with any aminity you can imagine. And if you have children they are going to love it here. The staff is super nice. Plenty of shaded spots and they are expanding with more shaded camp spots. I highly recommend this spot. It is a gem!
We are in the B section. Wide, deep back in site. With a wooded buffer between sites. The park has WiFi, cable and a clean laundry room. The A section is for monthly rentals, but neat and clean. It's close to the interstate, so road noise there, less in B.
C section is a "gravel parking lot" with all pull thru sites. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean well maintained campground.
Very happy with the decision to overnight here. Nice campground with FHU, back-in and pull-through sites, tent camping. Good amenities (playground, pool in season, activity building, catch-and-release pond). Bathhouse is clean with 3 showers and toilets per side. Open and wooded areas available. WiFi strong where we were in C-1.
Excellent campground right off the highway. Well-maintained sites with full hook-ups. Pull-thrus and back-ins, trees, pool, clean bath house, playground. Good for over-night or extended stay. Family-owned and operated.
Stayed there with my family Labor Day weekend. Top notch family campground. Will go back they're again. Its getting bigger and better. Thumbs up! Definitely recommend for a good time.
Made a reservation/paid in full 4 months in advance got permission to put a tent on the same site and pay for extra people when we arrive. When we arrive to check in we are told that they can't honor our reservation. They said that they don't allow that. Why take the reservation if not allowed. We had to call around to find another campground and we did that was a lot better. Carolina country campground saved our weekend
Nice campground, but was disappointed that they charge us a FULL DAY for checking out at 5:30 due to truck issues. The campground was EMPTY! Noot for Christian of them! We were there for 4 nights without a vehicle and the staff knew this, and no OFFER of a ride to town for water/groceries. On the 1st day of our stay the older gentleman doing work on a tractor did offer his old truck, but we had no idea we would be stranded for 4 days. God bless you!!!
Glenda & Arthur run one super clean and super friendly campground!!! Love the windmill and laundry area and they are customer focused and helpful all year round--one of the best places to stay for all campers in North Carolina!!!
Very nice and clean, friendly atmosphere. Passing through, for an overnight stay. Pull through, full hookups just what we needed at a reasonable rate. Pool, showers, playground seasonally available.
The owners/operators are some of the nicest, friendliest people we have ever met. I love returning to this campground every year. The sites used by our group are located in the front area, open, level, and clean from debris, with fire rings. The facilities are all well maintained!
