Such a warm, happy place to make Christmas memories. Generations of our family have come to Mrs. Hanes' to get our Christmas cookies to give to family and friends. We are on the fourth generation to visit and enjoy the delicious cookie flavors!

Found this place by accident on a Sunday when Old Salem was closed due to the recent weather. Googled places nearby and came upon the actual distribution center that had a small store where you could buy cookies direct. Fresh, delicious, a little pricey but worth it for the thin yummy cookies. We bought a few gift sets for family for Christmas and some bags to take home. It's out in the country but worth the drive.

Only place that still makes hand made Moravian cookies, and you can watch them being made! Samples available of all of the flavors. Like the small pack they sell as well. Pretty pottery available too.

Best sugar cookies around, I've been eating these cookies since I was a little girl. If you live close or far away it's still worth the drive. They make them right in front of you so you can watch and they have sample bins to try and see what you like the best. Always friendly staff too!! Such a awesome gem of winston-salem.

We come for a visit Everytime we are in Winston Salem. Call ahead and they will give you a tour. Great for families with kids. Very friendly staff.

Mrs. Hanes' Moravian Cookies are perfect for any occasion. I love the lemon cookies and I send out the Spice cookies (Vegan Friendly) to my family every Christmas. They ship anywhere in the US and prices are fair.

If you're looking for a fun and educational place to visit, this is it!! We had the best time visiting and learning about this country's last made-by-hand, Moravian bakery!! Plus, we got to sample some while we were there! Omgosh this place is so good!!!
