Had a fantastic weekend at #birchknolllaconia . Staff were super accommodating, units were clean and well taken care of. The sunset off their private dock was amazing can't wait to visit again. Perfect spot for an overnight if you are at a concert at #oldmeadowbrook #bankofnhpavillion

The owners could not have been more helpful! We had a unique situation with our travel plans and she did everything possible to make it work for us. Customer service is something that seems to be harder to come by these days and Birch Knoll was EXCELLENT. Thank you for all your efforts!

absolutely loved it here, right around the corner from everything! very tentative and wonderful owners that cleaned the rooms everyday and prepped fresh towels and made the bed, King bed room was awesome. great people!

I understand how 1 would ask why people rate this a 5 star motel, but this is in the middle of NH. Not NYC, So,, "Yes" it is a 4 to 5 star resort. Just a couple minutes down the road is Weirs Beach with the most picturesque scenery, and plus the owners at Birch Knoll are probably 2 of the nicest people ( and not just in NH) you'll find. My son and my 1st time, there was a misunderstanding over-booking, and the owners were willing to put us up in their own home, but last second there was a cancelation and all worked out. Can't wait to go back in September.

My husband and children (ages 6, 5, and 4 months) spent 2 nights in August 2016. The motel is owned by a nice couple who answer the phone when you call, check you in, make the coffee, wash the towels/ linens, and still have time to chat- even at full occupancy! It's very rare to find owners so involved these days. The rooms were clean, the owners were attentive, and the dock across the street was much bigger than anticipated. It was perfect for fishing, swimming or just relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee (provided in the office). The pool was super refreshing and larger than the website pictures and went up to 7ft. deep. The location is perfect for anyone with kids as Weirs Beach was a few miles away. Although the property is in need of some minor updates and small improvements, it fulfilled our needs and did not break the bank. A great value!

This Motel is a clean, family owned business that sits directly across the street from the lake. The room was clean, towels were given on request & coffee was made every morning. Its a pleasant motel in a beautiful spot. The ONLY negative was the TV channel selection for the kids at night. That's a very small, picky thing though. Id stay there again.
