Very nice and clean place that's close to the main road. A few minutes to Pittsford and the Erie canal. The staff was very friendly! Most of the places that I've stayed at served free breakfast and this is the first one that it doesn't include it. But will still recommend to my friends and hope to stay there again next time.

Love this Courtyard! I accidentally showed up on Tuesday without a reservation (I did one online but failed to click the final button). They had a room for Tuesday, but not Wednesday. To complicate things, I was travelling with a coworker, who had rented our only vehicle.
I made a reservation at a nearby Residence Inn for Wednesday, which would have been inconvenient. But the front desk staff took my name and when a cancellation came in, they booked it for me. And the really awesome thing, they called the nearby Residence Inn and got them to cancel my reservation without any penalty charges.
Thank you so much to the staff at Courtyard Rochester East. You took what could have been a really stressful business trip and made it relaxing.response / report this review -

Very accommodating staff.we had a pre and post wedding tailgate party in the parking lot and they had no problem with us! They even delivered food to the party!

Left behind a pair of very expensive diamond earrings I wore the night before on my wedding day. Didn't realize until about 8 hours later they were missing. Searched and called everywhere when we got to phoning the hotel. Thought for sure earrings were gone if I left them in hotel room- but nope there was an angel working in house keeping that day that turned in my earrings! Love a company who has staff that are loyal and honest.

I was surprised to learn that they will be updating this hotel because its already quite up-to-date and modern! This is a great hotel, nicely appointed with very friendly and helpful staff. I had researched the several hotels in this area and am very pleased with the price and value.
There are drinks and bar food after 5:00 pm, along with the usual continental breakfast in the morning and a "pantry" area for those late night ice cream cravings.
The rooms are very modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. If there's one nitpick its there isnt much of a view from most rooms.
Overall as a business traveler that stays in a lot of hotel rooms I highly recommend this place.response / report this review -

The Courtyard Marriott at Penfield was able to host our wedding party with 30+ rooms without a hitch. They helped to deliver gift bags to each room, supplied amenities upon request, and the staff was courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend them and would book again. Thank you for the help making our big day go off without a hitch!

I visited the hotel yesterday. The staff was pleasant and showed their strive to accommodate the needs of each person to walk through their doors. The inner lobby gave a comfortable feel whether you wanted to share conversation or kick back watch some television. Given my visit, I would come back.

Room was a bit loud at times. A bottle of wine was supposed to be waiting for us but never showed up. Was charged twice the advertised Google search fee.

Very nice stay. Front desk employees were very nice and friendly. Although, I was a bit irritated as we were interrupted multiple times by the housekeeping the last time of which we were told we had to leave our room because we were late checking out when in fact check out is at noon. but still, I give a 4 star review because one employee out of the bunch should not tarnish the entire business.
