Amazing! I was in town due to a death in my family, the staff was so kind and considerate in making sure I had the best possible experience. The facilities we're clean and beautiful with an array of amenities

I stayed here with my husband for our first anniversary and the customer service from the staff was very horrible and unpleasant. Upon arrival customer service with Mia and Karen was unfriendly and not inviting. They didn't ask how we were, didn't explain what the hotel had to offer, didn't explain where the elevator was, what check out hours were, nor breakfast hours. Went downstairs to enjoy the bar and lounge and kisha the bartender wasn't friendly either. She act like we was bothering her bc she was on the phone.
I am a rewards member and never went to a Marriott that was this unprofessional. So disappointed and never will visit this one again.response / report this review -

I love the Courtyard brand by Marriot but not this one. The manager was very rude when i called ahead to set up my room at a corporate rate. It seems that he didnt want to honor there own discount. When I did check in I got the same attitude from the girl who checked me in she was probably trained by the manager. lol. Anyways i didnt get the 1st fl. room i was assured id get. i have bad knees and a fake hip so lugging everything to elevator and down hallways is a real pain. So much for Southern Hospitallity. They need to retrain the manger and staff here on there customer service skills. I stay at alot of the courtyard marriots and the staff always goes out of there way for there customers but not here. I wont be back.

Great hotel. A little tough finding but once you figure out the layout it's a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very informative and accommodating. Highly recommend! !

Clean and comfortable room! Friendly and accommodating staff. The food was also delicious at the on-site restaurant and bar (I upgraded to the Breakfast for Two package)!

Clean nice rooms with friendly service. No continental breakfast but there was a Starbucks downstairs so they had some good coffee and breakfast.

Conveniently located next to the theater and shopping. There are many restaurants nearby as well. The rooms are due for an upgrade. Lot of three interior is very old style. It is very clean though. Room was smaller than expected.

We live right outside of Charleston and have stayed at most hotels downtown, this is my favorite!! The staff are wonderful and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the market with a fireplace and balcony. There is an evening cocktail time as well and a morning breakfast.
