We were very unhappy with the upkeep of the hotel room. As a Marriott reward member, I've spent A LOT of time in Marriott hotels (at least 10 or 15 different Marriott hotels this year alone) and didn't feel the dirty sink, moldy window sill, worn furniture, loose toilet seat, and (worst of all) sagging mattress which left me with a back ache to be WELL below standard. We stayed the night with our twin toddlers and called for two cribs before going out. We returned hours later past their bedtime. They were cranky and ready for bed, but we returned to no cribs and had to call down again to ask for them. This is actually not the first time a Marriott hotel did this to us with the cubs, but unlike last time (a different Marriott hotel), they brought the cribs up in 15 minutes and apologized profusely. Everyone was very nice, though, and they allowed us to check out at 2pm. Also, it was within walking distance of 4 great coffee shops, which was a plus.

Great hotel! Location was awesome, it's right next to a subway station. Room sizes were extremely large for NYC. Loved that we could go to a lower floor for coffee. Only downside was the beds were a little firm for my taste. Regardless, I will return to this hotel the next time I'm visiting!

Our room had bed bugs and management was not responsive to the problem. At check out they offered to cover our dry cleaning bill and “look into “ a partial refund. Now that we are home the hotel is ignoring our emails and told priceline they wouldn’t do anything.for us. There was also a party in the room next door and security came once asked them to be quiet and never came back. So the party continued late into the night.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD HOTEL IN THE HEART OF NEW YORK CITY. I STAYED HERE 3 NIGHTS AND i HAD A REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCE. ROOMS ARE REALLY CLEAN AND VERY SPACIOUS. HOUSEKEEPERS ARE VERY NICE AND i HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH A YOUNG MALE HOUSEKEEPER CALLED JEAN. THIS GUY IS AMAZING. HE CLEANED MY ROOM ON THE 22ND FLOOR AND NOTICED THAT OUR TOOTHPASTE WAS DONE SO HE DECIDED TO LEAVE US 4 TOOTHPASTES AND 4 TOOTHBRUSHES. AND EVEN LEFT US A NOT SAYING THANK YOU FOR STAYING HERE BE BLESSED. THAT NOT AND THAT ACT OF KINDNESS WAS AMAZING. AND ABOVE ALL OF THIS HE CLEANED OUR ROOM SO NICE AND THEN THE FRONT DESK ALSO ARE AMAZING. IF YOU EVER PLANNED A TRIP TO NYC COURTYARD MIDTOWN EAST BY MARRIOTT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Good place to stay, staff is good and co operative, centrally located, rooms do not have a Microwave oven etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was within walking distance to time square and Central Park and also Subway accessible. The rooms were clean and one of few in the area that has two full size beds and a sofa. There is also a food area on the 12th floor that serves breakfast and offers a place for guest to relax.

Great stay. Biggest hotel room we've stayed in at NYC. Slept 5 with a pull out couch. We couldn't find any other place that slept over 4. Room was clean. View was wonderful. Enjoyed the trip

Room was very clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful with arranging transportation for us. While there, their was water damage in part of the hotel which did not affect us, but for some reason, they disabled our key card and left a voicemail stating that they did so because they were not sure if we wanted to stay due to the water damage. While having our card reactivated, I witnessed an employee handling two very rude guests complaining. The employee managed this very well in my opinion and when she could no longer satisfy the guests, she had another employee take care of them so that she could attend to the other guests that were being held up due to the complaining guests. I was happy to be placed on the 30th floor as I had requested a higher floor and although they could not accommodate the early check in That I requested, they did store our bags for us so that we could go explore the city without carrying luggage. I would definitely stay here again if the price was right while visiting New York.

Location easy to get to but very busy (for Manhattan, obviously!). Excellent rooms, very large. WiFi is great and there is a 24 hour market next door for anything you need. NYC is at your doorstep for not too ridiculous prices.

I stayed in the room for two nights. Rooms are a decent size with standard amenities. The staff was very informative and helpful with any concerns that we had while visiting the city.

Here for a business trip. Good location, clean rooms, friendly service. Only minus is super small fitness center. There is no room service but in NYC, who in there right mind would stay in to eat?

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

You get a coffee pot and a very small refrigerator, you do not get a microwave. I also wish they had a restaurant/lounge. They have a breakfast place open until 10 a.m. and a pantry where you can buy snacks, but both are on the expensive side. The staff is very courteous and helpful, and the rooms are clean, tubs could be a little bigger if you are a bath person. If it had microwaves and restaurant, I would give it 5 stars.

The front staff seemed irritated when we showed up to check in and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The location and room were nice, no complaints there. The biggest disappointment was there was no complimentary breakfast or water despite being a Marriott gold member. My friend and I both got bagels for breakfast in the morning and we waited about 15 minutes for them to toast the bagel. The bathroom was spacious and the room itself was clean. The hotel elevator was extremely slow but a minor hindrance. With all the hotel options around the area, I'd be more likely to find another option than stay at this location again.
