I was here on a business trip. First impression was welcoming and that was it.. Friendly staff and what not. Rooms were weird. I'm 6 foot 6 in a small bed. It was comfy but my colleague found a bed bug. Literally 3 hours later we checked into holiday inn. The room was were paper thin so I could hear people having what sounded like unnatural behavior. Ugh and the constant waking up to small sounds was terrible. Plus I found blood stains on the shower curtain. DO NOT STAY HERE

Good breakfast, nice upgrade and great cookies. Very friendly and helpful check in. Bathroom had no ventilation of any kind! Shower pressure was extremely low.

Country Inn is a nice place! Right near the freeway. They have an assortment of rooms, excellent selection at free continental breakfast. I stayed here for a week with no complaints.

The staff was very Friendly and the rooms were quite large. But they could do better with the TV, and I would recommend this for anyone who is traveling with a family. But if u have a large group(20+) the bacon and eggs will have to be replaced quite often

I stayed there several times. The rooms are always clean. The staff is always very very friendly. It is located close to several bars and restaurant and not far from the highway. Good price for what you get.

Stayed one night after a late Spartan game. The front staff was nice and we didn't stay for breakfast. We had a Jacuzzi room and even though we didn't use it, the room felt damp and humid. The toilet hadn't been cleaned in a while because there was hard water stains and grime around the top of the bowl. There weren't any great soaps or shampoos but it was nice to have a small fridge in the room.

Love Country Inn and Suites Lansing! Our room was large and clean and quiet. We were situated at the top of the stairs on the second floor and and heard Nothing! The staff was very accomadating and polite and the breakfasts were delicious. We would recommend this hotel hands down! Thank you

Wow, aweful, yes it's really that bad. The rooms are large with almost no lighting, the walls are paper thin and your neighbors conversation can be heard word for word. The tubs are stained black on the bottom and there was a bonus spider in ours. Breakfast was nice, the coffee was good, but the staff didn't seem to care much about the condition of the facility. The manager was completely unsurprised that I wanted to cancel the remainder of the reservation. He did not even ask why.

I was a bit surprised upon arrival to our room. The uncleanness was very evident. There were various forms of body hair on the toilet seat and tank, in the tub and on the shower walls and all over the bathroom floor and strangely, the bed sheets were put on, inside out.
For the cost of the room, I expect a much better kept hotel.
Thankfully, the front desk and dining area staff were very friendly. Also, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great!

I didn't get a chance to check out the pool, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Those are the two most important things to me. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The rates were much better than at the plaza right across the street. I will likely stay here again.

RUN AWAY! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BED BUGS!

Worst hotel experience ever. Rotten food in the fridge, called front desk and told them, she says "oh do you want me to come up and take the food out?" Obviously yes and can you CLEAN it?! Nothing is clean in this hotel.

Second, there was an inch of standing water in the shower, sink completely clogged. The pool is run down, has big chunks out of the floor.

Third, we had bed bugs we didn't notice until the morning. So we spent The night itching and scratching thinking we were crazy until we woke up in the morning and saw bugs crawling on the bed. Called the front desk and they sent housekeeping up and they said Yep that's a bedbug and didn't think anything of it. Front desk asked us if we want to switch rooms, Obviously!! We got the heck out of there though, you couldn't pay me to stay here. We had to call the manager multiple times a day for a few days to try to get our stay refunded.

This place is invested and they are doing NOTHING about it.

I can not begin to describe to anybody reading this review the misery we were put through at this hotel. We found three bed bugs (from what we actually could see - there probably was more) in our bed and were told it was not safe to sleep in the room. We were then told no other room was available. After that, the man at the front desk rudely told us we would never find a hotel in East Lansing due to the power outage. He also told us it was "normal" to find bed bugs in hotels and "these things happen all the time". We were astonished. He did not even compensate us for the inconvenience of having to leave our hotel room at 11:00 at night when we had a very important conference to attend bright and early the day after.
It was a terrible experience and I recommend anybody reading this review to STAY AWAY from this hotel!!!! The staff is terrible and the accommodations are even worse!!!!!!

Hotel was dirty, found gross left overs in room from previous guests. The bedding was stained. Beds broken, not enough breakfast for guests, inattentive staff, some with attitudes about being in the service industry. Pictures of the rooms are fluffed, this hotel isn't very nice or up to date hallways are lumpy! Flooring feels unsafe for children and elderly. I would NOT recommend this hotel for the price, a "Motel 6" would be equally as nice, and a lot cheaper.

Great experience, clean, upscale and very nice staff! I would stay here again for meetings. Nice restaurant attached and great conference center for large groups. Will definitely come back! Thank you!
