Have now decided to stay at large hotel chains. Due to foreign ownership becoming more popular and cleanliness an issue is now why we have reached this decision. This hotel was just okay and breakfast was lacking much. Bathroom floor and shower mat were filthy. I'm quite sure it had not been cleaned in a while as I found a very LONG black hair in the floor and it was NOT mine. Disgusting and will not stay here or in the named hotel again. Very unfortunate that "foreign" owners do not feel there is a need to be clean. And I might add, we look for this when checking in but only saw evidence in the morning when checking out.
This a nice hotel. Good quality value. They have a friendly staff. Clean rooms. A good location. Lots to do around here. Highly recommended!
Very comfortable bed, standard room and free breakfast. No problems would return
Looks great. Staff was great. Towels were itchy. Please was competitively priced. Loved it
Great rooms, small pool but it worked. Breakfast was good, only issue was they told me I could pay with cash at check out and charged my card instead.
Quiet, clean, comfortable and conveniently located right off the Interstate exit. Definitely a good place to stay.
This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are dirty, the entire hotel stinks. There was one person working when I got there. They gave us a room that wasn't picked up yet & then gave us a different room that room was disgusting also. I have a 4 month old & it was hard for him to breathe in there. If I can give negative stars I would, maybe a -6. If you want a GREAT hotel, go up the street the Holiday Inn Express.
nice staff. nice room and amenities. Plug ins of all sizes (cords) for laptop, iPhones, etc. great free breakfast, buffet.
We stopped here on our way home from Florida and the staff was very kind. We didn't make a reservation but we didn't need to. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was located conviently located just off the interstate. And if you're a veteran or a member of the military be sure to ask for the military discount! The breakfast was a typical continental style. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the family at the pool! They were loud and illmannared and very disrespectful and stayed in the hot tub the entire time with no room for anyone else.
I would not state that the room was dirty, it was clean however it was worn. It is time to put some money back into the facilities. Staff was courteous. Breakfast lackluster. Not the worst, not the best. They did have quality coffee and tea in the room.
***THERE IS MOLD AND RUST SPOTS ON THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM, when the front desk was told about this all I got was a smile and a nod.*** I originally gave it three stars for the fact that the bed is actually decently comfortable. Since then I have updated my review(see the bottom)Also, keep in mind that any hotel I have ever stayed in previously, the housekeeping staff will NOT touch a bed with your belongings on it. that is not the case here they will take your things off your bed to make it up. even if nothing is missing, I don't want my stuff touched and was under the impression that my stuff wouldn't be touched In addition, This hotel is NOT American owned(which usually isn't a problem but every other Country Inn I stayed at that wasn't American owned, the entire hotel along with the rooms and carpet smells musty, the air conditioning only blows out a fan type air that absolutely cannot cool the room, there isn't music playing and fresh cookies when you walk in to the reception desk(which is a part of country inn guest appreciation at the front desk), and it's very hard to communicate with the people at the front desk. The water in the shower takes forever to warm up(i had it running for almost 4 minutes before it was warm enough to get in). Breakfast wasn't anything to be desired for except the coffee was sort of okay. The waffles stick to the plate and taste very doughey and tough. The pool is also ice cold by 4 in the afternoon so if you don't swim in the morning you might as well not waste your time. The hot tub also does not work which we were not told when we checked in and there is also no sign indicating it's under service. The salt in the pool is so heavy it immediately dries your hair and skin. Also, for a non smoking facility they don't hold this up well..
***Updated***
So we woke up this morning to an ICE COLD room, the air conditioning was turned off because it wasn't working anyways. well apparently they keep the hotel itself so cold that the rooms are freezing. The pool was also still so cold my five year old refused to swim. They also claim there is a kitchen in every room, there is a microwave that sort of works but smells burned when it's on, and a mini fridge that's dorm room size. The ice comes out of the ice machine half already melted. There is also rarely anyone at he front desk. I called four different times and went up there just to stand around and wait(was just trying to see if they offered any kind of baby bed/pack n play of sorts as I forgot mine at home). Never got an answer. Needless to say, we will probably not stay our last night here, we will be checking out tomorrow, and leaving. The wifi is also a joke. Pages crash before they can even load, housekeeping dumps your bags out on your bed and they have no respect for anyone. The closet is also weird(my two year old pinched his hand in it). It is a piece of wood as a door without a handle. It swings open and closed and there is a very large and heavy ironing board inside that can easily come off the wall. Nobody smiles at you past the time you check in and they roll their eyes at you if you need a replacement key. Very rude and needless to say this is one of the WORST country inn and suits I have ever stayed at.
Friendly staff, beautiful & updated rooms with high ceilings, nice beds, room to stretch out. Quiet, spotlessly clean, & relaxing. I feel very at home and yet also pampered here! Definitely starring this on my map so I can find it again! :)
The location is a little strange, tucked behind a gas station off the interstate but it's very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The room was great, comfortable bed, good water pressure, very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Indoor pool is nice, no outdoor pool. Chopin's Nocturne #9 is on repeat in the lobby/pool area forever. Constantly. Breakfast is set up very well and do not use disposable plates unless requested. Various coffee types. The place is very clean and well maintained and staff actually will hold conversations with you and are very nice. The room I got was immaculate and up to date.
