Your standard Cosi. The layout in this particular location is awful. No indication of where you order versus where you pay or if they are the same thing.
On a Saturday, with exactly 2 other people there, they took 10 minutes to complete my order. They make you order in one counter, pay at another, and waste time in both. Food was below par, compared to other branches of cosi where servers are friendlier and know their jobs.
Terrible service. They lost my order slip and gave my food to someone else, took forever to remake it, but gave me a refund and the food. Got to my officeIT WAS THE WRONG SOUP. You failed, never coming backlots of other places to eat downtown.
This Cosi is now my favorite location, conveniently located right off the Clark and lake rail station. I had a situation with a cashier who obviously was having a bad day, which caused her to be so rude to me during check out, this totally shocked me as I go there every day for breakfast and lunch and everyone is normally really pleasant, after informing the store Mgr Crystal via a phone call of this situation, she immediately knew how to respond to my concern and informed me she would property address her employee on details while providing customer service!!!! Crystal then went even further after apologizing of this incident by encouraging me to come back to Cosi so she can buy me lunch or dinner! I was shocked, All I wanted was for her to correct the issue with her employee so now one has to experience what I did, I returned the next day and was treated like royalty, the staff were all so nice and I was offered what ever I liked!! THANK YOU AGAIN Crystal, You and your team are AWESOME!!!
MDN💋
This Cosi is my go-to spot for coffee and baked goods in this area. It's located on a strip of restaurants that tend to be close on Sunday, but thankfully, this Cosi is open on Sunday. I can sit here and have coffee and conversations with friends for hours and the employees won't be pushy with us chilling there.
One of my fave cafes sandwiches are awesome! (Love the bread they use). And so are the salads! Smoothies are pretty tasty, too biz people and arts people frequent here and its an interesting crowd. Lots of energy. Located across the street from clark/lake blue line.
