This is a very nice deli. It will get busy in the evenings and weekends, so be prepared to stand in line a bit. The food is very good, for deli food. Their corned beef and pastrami stacks up high in sandwichs as well as on the burgers. Their cheesy fries and kale salads sides finish out a meal just nicely. The liquored whiskey shakes are the bomb, try the chocolate or the vodka frozen lemonade. Hope you enjoy.

Packed, authentic through and through, been open forever, and the food is an eclectic fusion of different cultures alongside the American palette. Located in the South loop, you'll get a really diverse atmosphere additionally. Easy to make it a regular spot.

Small restaurant in the south loop that has a diner/ deli vibe, but the food is top notch. Give their sandwiches and homemade soups a try- their meat selection is fantastic and of course, a root beer float for dessert. Fast and friendly staff.

Fantastic food and friendly staff! It's a little busy Sunday mornings but staff does a great job getting people seated. I forgot my wallet and my waiter found me before I even made it out the door. Its one of the places I want go every time I'm in Chicago.

This place was very nice and friendly. The staff was better than accommodating. The drinks were excellent. I took off one star because some of our food was a little dry. I guess it depends on what you order. Overall it's a great place.

We stopped for lunch on our way to the Adler Planetarium. It was wonderful, our waitress couldn't have been more help, the food was delicious and the diner itself is great.
We had such a good time and food at lunch that we returned for breakfast the next morning. We were recognized by the host, which I thought was remarkable. Our waiter kept our coffee full and again the food was great.
It's a place you have to check out, I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

We can here our first day in Chicago and we're so blown away we came back for breakfast the next day.

The atmosphere is very unique and a mix between old school diner and eclectic hipster spot. It was so cool to walk in and see all the different styles of paintings and decorations.

Now the food. It was amazing. I had the pastrami and egg burger with bacon. Best burger I have had in a while and I eat a lot of burgers. Our family loved it so much we had to come back for breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was even better. I got the corned beef and pastrami hash. The spicy ketchup made it a 5/5. Also have to say the servers were super chill and helpful beyond believe.

I highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area.

This place is great! It has the atmosphere of a classic greasy spoon diner without feeling dirty. The music is excellent (old school jazz when I was there) and the food is INCREDIBLE! Lots of classics and new takes on them. Plusthe coffee is good black. That's a hard mark to hit IMO. Finallyframed photo of Tom Waits behind the bar. Good place. Eat here.

The ONLY restaurant to go for breakfast! Great service and the food will not disappoint!
My group went there everyday we were in town.. Jewish deli style on steroids! You will not leave here hungry.. Food cooked to perfection.. Staff ,including owner and his mother, couldn't be nicer.. This place runs like a well oiled machine..I could eat here every single day and not have the same thing twice for a month!
Always a wait but worth it

Awesome little diner with excellent food! We had the corned beef & pastrami hash w/over-easy eggs, a plain bagel w/plain and lox cream cheese, and the black and white French Toast. Best French toast we've ever had. Lox in the cream cheese wasn't overly strong--perfect. Would definitely come back if we lived closer!

Great local diner! The food is always very good. Service is pretty good as well. Prices are a bit high for the type of place that it is, but would highly recommend. The portions are great and they have a great variety of food that is offered all day!
