I absolutely love Pete's! Produce is great, and they have a large selection of all kinds of items (even international!). It's like Mariano's but much cheaper! I just wish they carried more snack items, like bulk boxes of granola bars and fruit snacks, as well as to-go packs of crackers and such. But other than that, it's a great grocery chain!

Just bought this 12-17-17 on sale and was going to have it with my breakfast and this is what I find. This isn't the first time it happens I take it back and they offer to replace it but if it's from the same batch why would I want another headache. Just look very closely when buying cheese from here. What I got was Supremo Queso Fresco 10oz package.

Now carries vegan and vegetarian options! Cheese, milk, yogurt, tofu, even vegetarian sausages. Currently immediately to the right as you enter.

This place has it all. Fresh produce, packaged deli, seafood, hot food, canned items and bakery goods.

This Pete's is super clean and big, great value for produce. It has many Mexican foods that I can't find at my other grocery stores. This location is near other fun places to shop like sally's beauty supply.

Pete's Market on Cermak and Rockwell is one of my favorite grocery shopping stores for many reasons. Cleanliness, Professional and Friendly Employees, plus great prices and great produce. And I alwaya find what I need. Thanks Pete's Market.

I used to work as a produce clerk for a department that brought in over 10k per day (a Safeway in WA state), and I am completely blown away by the produce department. This place is literally the best grocery store I have been in, in my entire life. Salad bar, sandwiches, sushi, so many deli choices! And reasonable prices! One of the giant calzones fed three of us, and it was freaking delicious too. Great selection of drinks, and nice selection of ethnic foods. I had tried an exotic basil seed drink years ago with some Cambodian (Cham) friends; finally found it here-and two brands of it to choose from!

Huge, exquisite, well kept produce department. It's the first thing you see, and I love that. This is the true beauty of food, and they display it so well. Everything is perfect: the colors, the freshness, the detailing, everything. As a former produce clerk, all I can say is wow.

As you pass the produce department, the inviting aromas of the deli draw you to walk along the back wall of the grocery store. The displays flow from salads, sushi, and sandwiches to more hearty dishes such as pizza, roasted potatoes, fried chicken, meat loaf, and other favorites.

Great sales, superb deals, wonderful presentation, inviting environment, excellent service, etc. Just wow, completely blown away. I want to work here, I love it so much. (But I live in Phoenix)

The best produce and hot food. The meats as well. Always fresh and delicious. Years of my patronage and I've never been disappointed. The store manager is the nicest guy! I sometimes take people on a tour of the store so they can appreciate it as much as I do

I love this store. The food and produce displays are beautiful and appetizing. The cashiers go out of their way to try to open lines when the lines are too long. On one occasion, I bought a pizza bread and noticed some of the cheese was discolored. I returned to the store with the bread and the manager gave me a new one, hassle free and apologized graciously for my dissatisfaction with the first purchase. This is what grocery shopping should be. Highly recommended.

I'm rating this place 5 star because overall it's Fresh produce. Always clean. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Wide variety of fresh meats. And ready to cook at home pre-season meats. (Fajitas or burgers, meditarían flavored chicken) just to name a few from their endless selection.

Or if your are like me, always on the go and no time to cook. This place has an awesome salad bar where you can prepare or they can prepare at your request. Soup to warm you up and a wide variety of hot food like chile rellenos, frijoles charros, chicken, meat loaf. meatloaf was flavorful but I think this time they forgot the bread crumbs because it was too hard. Good deli section. Ceviche is awesome! That's My favorite. Try the Coctel de Camaron on a tostada or tortilla chip.
They also have a juice bar right at the entrance and a separate section for sushi. Yes I said sushi. Made to order or pick up the prepackaged.
Although they have a bakery section it's really not the best. The Mexican bread is ok but lacks flavor, texture. The French loafs are great.
Midsize Liquor section and well sorted!
A little flower/plant area. So don't forget your love ones special occasion.

They have a seating area for quick bite too. I'm always on the go, I've never sat and eat there. I usually take my food home. Location is prime, lots of little shops, or go burn off all the calories with the gym next door.

I really enjoy the wide selection of more ethnic food and ingredients and their cold and hot food bars. Although my produce never makes it past 2/3 days :(

My favorite grocery store in the city. Lots of cool prepared foods, especially easy thigns to take home (BBQ, Mexican, Latin, pizza). Lots of Latin ingredients, great meat & seafood selection and produce. Really fun place to try new things.

Amazing selection of produce, cheap and reasonable prices, and the best of North American and Central American grocery goods.

The liquor dept has a fantastic selection of wines. I have yet to be disappointed.

Pete's reminds me of a combination of Whole Foods, and your local Mexican supermercado, with the best prices in the area.
