Excellent Back Bay hotel. Exceptionally clean, convenient location, quiet streets, 2 blocks from Prudential Center. Staff exceptionally helpful. Will definitely book again.

Spotlessly clean, unique in that it provides a feel for life in downtown Boston, and offers an alternative to the Big Hotel scene. Our first experience with Copley House. Unfortunately, our room featured a very energetic rodent, a black mouse, who emerged after we dimmed the lights to appreciate the wonderful view of the sky scrapers looming over the adjacent park, below. Cute in concept only, we were alarmed at how this rodent appeared to have no fear whatsoever of us, and could jump very, very high. Seriously, we were obviously worried that the rodent would jump into the pack-n-play of our 20 month old infant son. We called the front desk, and the night clerk, though clearly sympathetic to our plight, could not offer a different room (rooms booked). We ended up departing, post haste, on our 3 hour drive back to Maine, in our pyjamas, immediately. The room we were staying in was in and outer building, and it appeared clear that other rooms in that building were occupied by tenants or owners who may not have adhered to rodent control standards. Clearly, the Copley House cannot be held responsible for ensuring that no rodents exist at all in a charming 1880s era building. However, it is a bummer, but it is not realistic to expect guests to pay $300 a night to stay in a room that is infested with rodents. We are awaiting the Management's decision on refund for the night's stay or, preferably refund for the two nights stay. We assume the same mouse was running around unnoticed by us during the night previous. The situation would be different if we were not staying with an infant in a pack and play which would present the perfect setting for a cage fight between a rodent and our baby, and we don't think our infant would have prevailed. In summary, Copley house provided a pleasant alternative to the big hotel scene in Boston with a small, efficiency apartment in a charming 19th century building. A great place to stay if you don't have a small child and are not worried about a rodent bite. I apologize again that the Copley house cannot control rodents in Boston in a building that they do not entirely own, but I do think it is incumbent upon them to ensure that guests spending $300 per night do not have to contend with a rodent infestation in the middle of the night. I don't think guests should write off the Copley House based on this probably isolated experience. However we don't think we will be returning there in the near future, at least not with our baby.

Stayed on many occasions for varying lengths of time. Friendly, helpful staff. Free WiFi. Decently appointed apartments. Small kitchenette. Air conditioned. Great location.

Beautiful position. Near at the commercial senter "Prudential". Metro stop near and is easy reach the senter of Boston. Normal prices and good apartment.

Good location in a nice neighborhood not too far from the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that the bed couch was rather uncomfortable.

We stayed in Copley House for a two night trip to Boston and had a wonderful time! The service was good, our room was wonderful with a king size bed, a kitchen, bathroom, closet and living area. The location is hard to beat, and the price was great, especially considering all that we got!

This was a great place to stay. I attended a graduation at Northeastern and both the location and price were great. The staff here were super helpful and it was a different experience and come than the usual hotel, definitely would recommend.

Quaint hotel. Very close to the Hynes Convention Center. Friendly staff! Very fluffy pillows. Only complaint is that the fan in the bathroom shrieks like a banshee.

Clean, comfortable, fantastic location and friendly service. AND the price can't be beat in downtown Boston. Our only complaint: we were on St. Stephen and the locals (students from Northeastern?) were quite raucous both nights. Of course it might have been a little better if I'd closed the window - but I loved being able to get some fresh air, even in January. (AND the windows were squeaky clean!)

Hotel accommodation in Boston city centre is very expensive; Copley House offered an affordable rate.This was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in (c. 6'x15'). Yet bed was comfortable, there was a fridge, cooker, and coffee maker and kettle for tea, and shower facility was fine (in perhaps the smallest sized bathroom possible).

The antique air duct heating/air conditioning system was not working; thankfully a window unit was installed minutes after my arrival (though noisy, worth putting up with for comfort).

The reception staff are friendly, and they provide a left luggage service (which I used upon checking out). NB there is no lounge facility whatsoever; but the Prudential Center and the Copley Mall are a minute's walk away.

Thus, this self-catered apartment-style accommodation is in a great location (two blocks from Prudential T halt). But it's more a place to use as a base to sleep (comfortably), less as a spot for meeting up with friends or colleagues.
