Nice, clean rooms BUT unfortunately very loud.
We had a room at the second floor facing the main street (number 224). Even with ear plugs the street noise was so loud, that it was hard to get good sleep.
We asked for a more silent room. The personnel at the front desk was nice and helpful and we got a room on the 6th floor - for which we had to pay an upgrade. The new room was less noisy.
So the Loews is a nice hotel, but as a good night sleep is essential, I wouldn't book this hotel again. We had been traveling 3 weeks through the US and stayed in many hotels and only at the Loews I had such a noise problem.

Just went in for breakfast, was excellent quality and not too expensive. And best part was that I didn't have to wait an hour to get seated. Quick and quality service at a reasonable cost!

The hotel room was fabulous, the beds were the most comfy beds ever! The rooms were spacious for a hotel. The staff were friendly and the position was perfect for the Old Town. The only negative was parking was $50/day for valet and self park wasn't an option as they told us the parking was a long way away. On Monday when we checked out, it took 45 mins to get our car, so factor this in when you leave.

Very good service. Valet parking and self indoor-outdoor parking nearby.
Some rooms are too small. The room that we got first had a mattress that you could feel the springs of it. However, we were moved to another room which was slightly better.
So far it is a disappointment in comparison with the one in Minneapolis.

Beautiful hotel and excellent rooms. Very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Very clean and loved the bathroom. Price is on par with other hotels in the area. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were part of a large group and the staff handled us smoothly. Next time I am in the area I will try to stay here.

The hotel is nice. Full of business folk. Front door service was ok. Room was clean. They kinda cramped as many rooms in as possible. Felt safe and secure there. Good location in the Back Bay.

We were there Wednesday through Friday recently. A nice hotel in a great location. I would have given it five stars except for a few issues. They once had both of the elevators closed for service during normal hours! Both of them! The bar gets jammed and very noisy during happy hour. We got drinks and took them to our room; it was so bad.
The room's bathroom had no ventilation and the commode was stuck in a corner beside the shower. If someone came in at the wrong time while you were at the commode you could easily get hit by the door. It's that tight. OTOH, it had a big tub at the other end of the room (so seperate tub and shower). Many great restaurants in walking distance.

Amazing stay at the Loews Boston Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Also the hotel is in walking distance of so many places. When I come back to Boston I would highly consider staying here again.

Went to breakfast at the Precinct (attached to the hotel), on the patio, which was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Included muffins and bagels (not many varieties of either), lox, bacon, sausage links, plain pancakes with available fruit topping, home fries, assorted pastries, and scrambled eggs. All non-alcoholic beverages were included.

Enjoyed my stay. Room service (Tuna Cruda) was outstanding Workout room was serviceable. Fine room service selections for pets shows that the revolution is coming soon.

We have stayed at the hotel many (6+) times over the past 2 years. Central location, very professional staff. Small rooms, yet this is the norm for hotels in the Back Bay. Traveled with an infant, and the hotel was great in providing a crib and other amenities; most times even provided a slightly larger bathroom that we use as an impromptu nursery. Would give five stars but for that perennial problem we encounter at large hotels in the United States: room temperature control. Loews provides extremely warm duvets on the beds, yet the room thermostats are not adjustable to below a relatively warm setting (I presume this is a cost saving measure). This results in a sweatily uncomfortable night in warmer months. For this reason, we avoid the Loews in summer months. The hotel bar and restaurant are popular with local young professionals and are lively and fun.

Very comfortable hotel. One block from Back Bay station makes using public transit the way to arrive. If you drive your car it will take $50/day valet parking which is comparable to the surrounding public parking locations. Staff is friendly and it is easy to navigate. Rooms are small but do not feel crowded. Shower is great! No bath or hot tub. Vanity is too small for more than 1 individuals personal items and it is too narrow to blow dry hair, but it does have a motion activated night light. Beds are large and comfortable. Pillows are just right. Curtains overlap and block out nearly all light. Sheers offer privacy even though some windows face other rooms. AC worked well and fans are not too loud. Outlets located conveniently and all work. Overall stay is worth the price! Would definitely stay here again.

Conference rooms were easy to find, comfortable and quiet. A/V presentations were trouble-free (no microphones/speakers were used). Restrooms were close by, food was well-presented and good-tasting. Valet parking was excellent, though traffic did delay retrieval ~10 minutes (sufficient to grab a beer at cafe across the street).

Great hotel. Walking distance from everything we needed. Bed were great. everything we needed for a quick trip. staff was helpful and friendly. kept our suitcases for us while we spent the day in Boston.
