One of the best kept secrets anywhere. Have stayed here twice, will go again. Wonderful quick shuttle ride to NJ Transit right into New York. On return, quick pick-up. Great Staff, great rooms. Very good complimentary breakfast. A great find.Lyn Elliott
Amazingly friendly people, forgot a bag in their complementary shuttle that picked me up for work. They called my room and told me they had it at guest services. Very comfortable clean bed, direct TV very nice gym. Can't beat it!
This is one of the few choicehotels that is so professional. A very neat, good ambience, a nice getaway. Rooms very neat, clean. The bar is a plus. They have a shuttle bus too. Polite people!!
The environment as very clean and inviting. The room was spotless and comfortable. Staff was friendly and the breakfast services was good. I enjoyed my stay with my fiance, we recommend a stay here.
Be careful as you pull closer to this building as the entrance comes up very fast and it's very easy to fly right by it. There's not a ton of parking between the two hotels that's sit on that lot. The Comfort Inn is not much to look at it and there isn't much of a view from the upper floors but the experience, once inside, was very pleasant. The service personnel were very helpful when are online booking agent Made a reservation error. The rooms were clean. I had a room next to the elevator and the walls are pretty soundproof. We had no problems sleeping the night away.
The hotel and rooms were absolutely fantastic. BUT the cleaning staff, I'll give a 1star.. They did NOT pick up trash, used coffee cups etc. All they did was leave plastic bags for ME to put in waste baskets There was one day, we only had one towel, to use for 2 people. Ran out of wash cloths, and hand towels. One day as we were leaving, I had to run back up to room(5th floor), and the elevators took forever. Finally they opened only to find in each elevators the big giant maid carts, but no maids. Went to my room got what I needed, to then find the maids in Hall pushing BOTH the up and down buttons, laughing. Finally an elevator showed up, the 2 maids and myself get in elevator, and guess what they pushed every floor button. Wow waste of my time, but they didn't care. And just for that reason I won't go back. Which is a shame because again very nice hotel. I stayed 3 nights there.
Upon arriving to our first room, toilet would not flush properly, but they quickly moved us to a new room. Breakfast is much better than other hotels and includes fresh bacon and eggs, pastries, cereal, and two good juices. Reception was very helpful. Elevator was very slow.
The Hotel rooms are very clean. View is good. Bathroom is very clean. Beds are very organized. Sofa and study table are also great. The rooms have good lighting. They have shuttles to and from Newark airport P4 every hour.
The hotel is great. Great customer service and clean and updated rooms. The only downside is it's too close to a busy road and you can hear the road noise clearly in your room.
Had to stay here during a flight layover at Newark. Shuttle service was efficient and on time. Breakfast was good.
Stayed a night after missing a connection at Newark. The room was nice and the shuttle was prompt. In an ideal world there would be a safe way to leave the property on foot, but if that's not a thing you'll be doing it's a good hotel.
Nice hotel. The hotel had adequate updates and modern amenities. There are not any restaurants within walking distance but the front desk has plenty of menus for places that deliver. The Continental breakfast had a nice variety of items.
About 30 minutes away from the airport. Lobby seemed nice and staff seemed helpful. But they were overbooked from an airline voucher we received. Had to go back to the airport and did not stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms. I think you have to call for the shuttle to go to the airport for pickup. It doesn't regularly run to the airport is what we were told.
I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel on March 19th. I reserved a king suite and was given a top floor corner room which offered a nice distant view of Manhattan. The room was large and airy. It was L shaped which reduced ambient noise and being the top floor, afforded taller ceilings. The bed was comfy. If there was anything to nitpick it would just be the hot items in the breakfast bar were a bit dry and the "no left turns" design of most roads in NJ made me have to cut through the adjacent car dealership to get to it. I would certainly consider staying here again.
