Honestly, I'm happy with the management and staff. This place is absolutely a no frills, no extravagance, and meets what is necessary type of place.

    Pros:
-The location realistically can't be beat. Next door: One side is starbucks, burger king, other side is In and Out. Across the street is 7/11.
-Hollywood Blvd is like a 8 minute walk.
-Hollywood bowl was like a 25 minute walk, literally faster than driving after a concert (about an hour because LA Traffic)
-Value: the cost is great for the location but keep in mind definitely a no frills experience.

    Cons:
-Thin walls and ceiling. I could hear my next door neighbors talking, and my upstairs neighbors walking.
-Room while clean, smelled very strongly of cleaning solution. I had to air it out a bit
-CANNOT HOLD YOUR BAGS IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY OR LEAVE LATER. There is no bag check of any sort so this is something you definitely need to know.
-The carpet is dirty. It turned my socks black so I was forced to wear slippers in the room.

All and all, I'd stay here again

Good location. Can't hold bags. Carpet is dirty; wear sandals or slippers while in your room. Noisy ceiling. But cost effective for the area.

Nice place to stay in a town famous for traffic. Their central location gives you many options to go in any direction either by freeway or city streets. Also cool to stroll up to walk of fame at night and check out the stars when there's less crowds.

Great location for Hollywood and affordable parking. Also easy to walk around and easy access to food.
Room was basic and in need of a remodel, a wardrobe almost the same size as the bathroom was a waste of space and the aircon was pretty loud

Do not stay here! Saw cockroaches when I was giving our children a bath and had to kill the ones I could get before they would get out of the tub. Absolutely disgusting. Numerous holes in walls, tiling, floor and wonder if any maintenance is actually occuring. The only positive element was the desk staff. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I only gave one star because there isn't anything lower to mark. We had two rooms (K,2Q). Both rooms were horrific. The bathroom was full of mold, the carpet was sticky, the back of the bathroom door was very dirty. There was enough dirt on the picture frames to start a garden and the walls had been ignored for years by the visible dust all over them. The first room assigned was rejected by use because the deadbolt wouldn't align with the frame. Probably because of the footprints on the back of the door displaying the attempt to kick it down. The desk clerk was irate with us cancelling the reservation stating we entered the room so we make it dirty.

Cracks in some walls.. but it wasn't that bad. In room 301 it wasn't Terrible like everyone else said. We didn't go to the pool, but searched places to go and see. Good views, and comfortable beds, plus clean carpets. Bathroom was kinda small, but oh well. In the morning we walked to Hollywood BLVD and saw the stars, went in some stores, and the Chinese theater. We liked it and really wasn't bad.

Small hotel/motel very well situated. Plenty of restaurants around 5mjn walk to hall of fame and Hollywood Boulevard. The rooms small and not super clean. The breakfast was not great, but we didn't complain. Overall it was ok for a short stay.

The hotel was okay for an overnight, there was a large gap between the door and the frame large enough to stick my pinky in it. The staff guy behind the desk was kind of rude but also nice and kept changing his mind on stuff and was difficult to understand. Overall it was a good location but I would not recommend staying there.

THE UPSIDES to this motel are great location, enjoyed the walk of fame, Hollywood sign and universal studios without having to travel far . Plenty of dining choices(Ihop, in n out,BK, wendys, subway). Room was clean and cozy. Free breakfast was good. I didn't have a problem with the very limited parking but that is because i parked before 5:00pm.
THE DOWNSIDE to this motel is the afternoon/evening front desk clerk, he was very very very rude!!! I would absolutely stay in this motel again.

It's Hollywood! You're located on the world famous 'Sunset Blvd!' OKAY.That's what your paying for here at this hotel, location, location! The hotel itself is walking distance to some great tourist sightseeing, Metro Station, Lot's of Food choices. There is a 'Starbucks' right next to the Hotel! Walk out to sidewalk look West, and there it is! The hotel at first glance is updated, and looks decent. But, get into a room, take a look closely, and you will notice the dirtiness. Management needs to set higher standards on how to clean a room. They must only employ one housekeeper and rush her to get all the rooms cleaned by 2pm, therefore missing ALL the details of what a clean room should look like. They have carpet folks! Keep those socks on people! Just don't go looking behind the nightstands, looking at walls, light fixtures up close You are going to start telling yourself, "I paid how much for this room!" When that happens it maybe time to take a walk to get yourself a, Double Double with cheese, grilled onions, and a Neapolitan ShakeDon't forget the Cheese Fries because, IN & OUT is just at the end of the block.

The room was nice, it looked better than you would expect from the exterior of the hotel. The hotel itself is a motel style building, and it looks kind of old. There is free parking 1 car/room. They have a free breakfast that is ok for a free hotel breakfast, make your own waffles, different pastries, sausage and eggs. It's in a nice location, you can walk to many places. It is also relatively cheap, overall it was a good value.
