We were there on my daughter's make a wish. The beds were so comfortable with puffy, almost down feeling mattress pads, pillows, and blankets. I'm sure it couldn't have been actual down. But it might have been. Wouldn't know the difference. We slept so great. Staff was very helpful to us out of towners. The hotel was clean and modern. Great experience.

What a gorgeous property! Impeccably clean. Beautifully appointed. And a very friendly staff. The hotel is undergoing some renovation and everyone was very accommodating to keep guest disruption to a minimum. A free shuttle to Universal Studios makes this ideal for families! And the room service is absolutely top notch.

This hotel is always in a state of disrepair, but they look like they are working on it tricking me into thinking it will be nice on the next visit. If booking on a weekend plan on staying on a low floor or staying out late as they always have a party going on that can be heard a few floors down. They are upfront about this and will move you down. Club lounge generally has decent snacks.

Convenient walk to Universal (despite the giant exhausting hill). The hotel is in the midst of a remodel so a lot of old furniture and mattresses were being disposed outside which made some of the lot look less than attractive but the newly furnished room we stayed in made up for it. Soft beds, comfy pillows, and chilly a/c made our room very nice. The bathrooms looked great, nice shower, the bowl style bathroom sinks looked great as well but aren't the most practical; you get water everywhere reaching for the soap. The ice machines weren't working either the weekend we stayed, so you had to call room service to deliver ice, slightly inconvenient. The elevators need work as well, all the doors bang together on the ride and dont stay sealed, but considering it was the weekend before Halloween it kind a had that rickety, creepy vibe going for it.

Check in took about 15 minutes but the people infront of us said they had been waiting 30 minutes to be helped. Rooms were okay. Very small and toilets couldn't flush "back to back". The sliding door to the restroom also made the door impossible to close correctly, so it left a 2 inch gap on both sides of the door. It is very close to Universal Studios and has a shuttle. Beds are comfortable and appear to be clean.

The renovated floors and rooms were great. The hotel has a cool mix of modern design and retro Hollywood, so it's far from a typical hotel. The location to Universal Studio theme park is great as it's completely walkable.

It's fancy, but some of the floors were under construction. Our room seemed unfinished and un-inspected, but we did check in early. My wife flooded the shower because the drainage grate had been installed backwards. The staff was super friendly and helpful though.

We stayed here whilst visiting Universal Studios and was very happy with every aspect even though there was some construction going on. It didn't bother us once and the view and food at breakfast made up for any visual things we may have saw. It's a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Pricey, but a pleasant stay. During my booking there was construction going on for renovations but it wasn't too disturbing. The renovated rooms are top notch with beautiful views of the city. Of course the location is great. Staff was courteous and professional. If you're willing to pay 5 star price you won't be disappointed.

This is a really good example of a hotel that is tied to a location where they don't have to try very hard for business. The service is as good as usual, but the state of the hotel is pretty dismal. The rooms are in fairly rough shape. But it's close to Universal Studios, so it is what it is.

The heavy construction is a bit of a bother, but the newly renovated rooms are very nice and modern. Scandinavian in design, lots of amenities. Needs a proper work desk, though. Also, the staff is very accommodating during the work.

I attended my prom at the Sheraton Universal Hotel on the 21st Floor, starlight ballroom. The view was fantastic, the interior decor was stunning, the bathroom was clean and fancy, and the ballroom had enough space for everyone to dance. I simply had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend a visit to the hotel to anyone who wants a great prom. The service from the servants was wonderful and all were polite. The food served there was also phenomenal.

All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and super helpful. I truly felt like a welcomed guest at this hotel. The location is very convenient to the park and they have a shuttle that takes you up to the park. The views are great and the rooms are well appointed. The mini shower loofah was a nice item to provide! I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area!

The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I stayed in one of the newer, upgraded rooms. Very modern decor--beautiful. Because the rooms were upgraded as of Feb 2017 there was still the strong smell associated with new carpet, but that should calm down with time. Stayed overnight for a work function. Didn't have time to go to Universal Studios but did enjoy the nearby shopping and restaurants.
