Just found out these guys stripped the oil drain plug for my oil pan and I've been leaking oil since my last visit Now I have to replace my $700 oil pan because of them and they showed no sympathy, guilt or concern

Our experience with Coastland Automotive Service was fantastic! The staff were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with, explaining what they recommend and why, including recommendations that cost less and would save us money. Their prices were fair and reasonable. They did exactly what they said they would do within the time frame they estimated, and, more importantly, the work was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Coastland Automotive Services to anyone with any make or model of vehicle.

Had some minor scratching from a fender bender. The staff was able to remove superficial scuffs with no charge and gave me the most economically intelligent way to repair the minor damage without over charging me (important as a young female). A stand up company with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The gentlemen that run this establishment are not the ordinary 'grease monkeys.' They care. They answer questions. They give you comparative prices from your normal Mercedes dealer.
Work is done on the schedule they give you. If they find something 'new' they call you, tell you, and giver you alternatives.
It's like talking to your uncle to get answers ---- concise, expertly stated.
You can't go wrong at this establishment.

I was told by the dealer the cost for body work would be $1100. WOW!
So I called my AAA referred shop, Coastland Auto and was quoted about $600 for the same work which is where the final cost came in. They did a great job on the car. Now they do all our automotive work. An honest buck for honest work!. I have found a home for auto repair.

Do not ever trust a mechanic who tells you they have to remove the "cover" from your engine, and charge you 1 hour "assessment" to look at the serpentine belt, that 1. Doesn't have a cover and is in plain sight, and 2. Is sitting on the ground. clearly no longer attached to the vehicle. These guys give good hard working mechanics a bad name. And shame on AAA for recommending this joke of a repair shop! Go down the road to a better mechanic!
