The front counter staff at the Pointe west office amazing and awesome they treat everyone with respect and are always smiling. They even know the patients as they walk in the door. I have been in many Doctors offices and this is the only place I feel good walking in the door. I want to Specially Thank Janelle,Daniele,Aneisha, Samantha and Davarious for making a difference. Thanks so much 😁😉

I saw Dr. Sara Simmons at Coastal Orthopedics and she was wonderful. Her knowledge was expansive, and her caring manner was exceptional. The staff, Anthony and Sara, was terrific too. Definitely a 5 star appointment.

Want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Simmons, Tresta, and the staff my son saw yesterday after coming in for a thumb fracture. They made sure we understood the options and took good care of my little guy. I was very pleased with our visit. Ladies keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

And even one star is highly overrated. Coastal Negligent Care would be much more appropriate.

I underwent a surgery with Dr. Sundberg in April. He is a nice person, but at this time I can't say anything about the quality. I broke my femur and after the surgery he told me to start putting full load on my leg. This causes much pain and within a few days the size of my leg doubled. He advised to stop this, but he never explained me the X-Rays, I never experienced such a behavior of a doctor before. Mostly his assistant came and just told: "The X-rays are great."

My physiotherapist asked me seven weeks after the surgery to get instructions from Dr. Sundberg if we can start the therapy with full load. I therefore went to my excellent rehab doctor (Dr. Tsai, Pinnacle Group) and asked him to get this information from Dr. Sundberg. He advised me to get an appointment with Dr. Sundberg.

I called Costal Orthopedics on Friday 06/09/17. Sure, we are in Florida and here it is quite unpopular to service customers on Fridays. Therefore I called back on Monday 06/12/17. Relatively fast I received an appointment for Friday 06/16/17 for 1pm and was advised to show up 30 minutes early.

I appeared on time. The receptionist told me I have no appointment! I insisted on my appointment and she tried to help me. She talked to a passing colleague about my situation, this lady went to the elevator. Again she told me that there is nothing what she can do for me.

I insisted to talk to the assistant of Dr. Sundberg, the receptionist told me that this had been the person she talked to seconds ago. I consider the behavior of this lady not only inadequate, I consider it as a impudence against a customer.

Then I insisted again to talk to Dr. Sundberg, again this was denied! I was asked to leave this "clinic" and got the direct number of the manager Ron.

I called Ron instantly. Sure, crazy idea on a Friday in Florida! I left a voicemail which is unanswered up to Tuesday 06/20/17.

I called then my rehab doctor who explained me that he can't call Dr. Sundberg because he havn't his number! How crazy is this? The doctors, who are treating you, don't correspond.

I have spoken in the last days to several people who have similar experiences. It is a scandal how Coastal Orthopedics treats customers.

I can't judge the doctors and the quality of Dr. Sundberg at the moment, this will follow, good or bad. But the management of this clinic is the worst I have ever seen. As an entrepreneur I would fire all the people at this place who are not helping the doctors to follow their Hippocratic Oath. And this seem to be quite a few.

This place is the worst for office management . they never get anything correct . The Doctor visit was 3 minutes long . Dr Constent ? I think that was his name, never received paper work indicating whom it was . Said he expected L4 or L5 was a issue and would send me to there PT facility . I asked about another and he would not issue a scrip for another . I received Xrays the same day . but I never was issued a pain medication . I then had a MRI done and called for pain medication . I never received a follow up phone call . Called again the next day and still his assistant Tondra never called me back . I called a third time to talk to office management , and they told me they would contact Holly whi was the super for them . WOW 3 minutes later ,Tondra Dr Constant assistant calls me and tells me she has had phone trouble . SURE ! "the checks in the mail too" . Pain management is a joke . I have had none!!! still fighting to see my Doctor . will update post later

As a patient with a chronic autoimmune disease that destroys joints, surrounding soft tissues among other things, I highly recommend Coastal. I have had over 13 major surgeries in my lifetime and i have to say the entire staff, be it the doctors, their PAs, their AA, xray and PT folks are all so caring and helpful.
I would and have recommended them to others.

I'm not sure what happen to this once great medical practice but starting about 2 years ago it has slipped.

Everything from customer service to the doctors. There are a couple of great doctors over there but some have seemed to turn into robots or have turned into just business partners and you're a number now.

Getting bills from allegedly office visits from 5-6 years ago and blocking patients from seeing their doctor. It's crazy that you can been seen during that same time period a couple of times and year and now that they have a new system that say you owe them money. Crazy.

Very sad.
