Our museum visit was fantastic. We did it as a holiday family outing, ages 14 to 87, and we all loved it. The area where is located is an addition to the museum.
While visiting, my son lost his wallet with money and ids in it the wallet was found and returned to us by the museum at no cost. Very happy with their customer service as well.
I recommend the Salvador Dali museum for its quality and their employees.response / report this review -

This one of the most enjoyed art museums by me. They this incredible funny informative tours for 30 min, that will make you insist to go an check each picture again to make sure you noticed every detail. They offer free audio guide at no extra price. Dali's art is a unique art that tells a lot of stories behind each picture. A funny game ro play while watching each painting, Try to ask your self where and how he signed each painting.

Amazing building, architecture, and art!
My wife and I visited the museum for a short time on a Sunday morning in December 2017. Dali's art is awesome and he was ahead of his time. To me, a retired city planner, the building was equally amazing due to its design, its setting and the views. I'm so glad we stopped by to see this museum!response / report this review -

The museum is amazing, the guided tours are great and the VR experience is a must! Also Cafe Gala is some of the best brunch I ever had , so good we stuck around for lunch after the museum tour. Prices are pretty low for the quality of food you're getting. The garden outside is also really cute for pictures. Go on Sunday between 11 and 1pm for their Spanish brunch and mimosas. A+++ for a romantic date too if you're both Dali fans.

This museum is pricey ($24/adult) but well worth the cost. The museum houses some of his most well-known pieces spanning all periods of his life. The photography exhibit gives you a snapshot of his daily life and adds great context to his art. I would recommend getting the free audio headset. It provides first-hand accounts and analysis of his paintings.

The art of Dali itself was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing these. The museum as a whole left me a little disapointed though. There are basically two large rooms of exhibits and that is it. There are no other exhibits or displays. Without taking a guided tour you could finish everything in 30 minutes or less. If you stop to reflect on each piece you will be done in just over an hour. The part that hurt was the parking fee of $10. I would not mind this if the museum had more to offer. If you are a fan of the artist by all means make the trip. If you are looking for something to do while in the area and are not a fan of art, look for something else.

Truly amazing. I loved the tours they give and the option of headsets they offer as well in case you want to go off on your own. There's so many great things to see here! I will say to go while they have a special collection going because it'll be so much better. I definitely recommend going if you live in the TB area. Tip, we also parked across the street in the park to save some money on parking.

This is one of the most interesting art museums I have visited (has been there before) but today did I and my wife have a very negative experience. All kinds of bags that by design is similar to backpacks are strictly forbidden at the museum. It does not matter if they have straps or not. It does not matter If they or are small or not. It’s the design that is crucial. On the other hand, we saw several visitors with larger shoulder bags with straps that were allowed to enter the museum. However, my wife with a significantly smaller bag without straps was stopped by a particularly nasty manager who was not at all interested in finding any constructive solution to the problem. This was by far the most negative experience during our three weeks in the United States.

Visited the Salvador Dali for Free Museum Day! sponsored by the Smithsonian Magazine.which is not apart of the "program", but thanks our AWESOME City of St Petersburg and the Dali itself, this museum was included to visit for free as well.
What a beautiful tribute to such an inspiring artist! How many people have artwork of Dali hanging in their homes - I literally have at least 4 different pieces in my own! Inspiring to get to visit this museum again, my third visit and definitely will NOT be my last trip!
My FAVORITE part of the entire free museum day was seeing SO MANY young families with their children touring the museums. I'm a 28yr young adult, with no children, but admire the parents out there trying to inspire their future generations and showing them things that matter.response / report this review -

Amazing museum! Great cafe downstairs with beautiful food, both in appearance and flavor. Huge selection of the finest Dali works, well organized and presented. I had a very upbeat and lovely tour guide who helped me understand what I was looking at. I'll hopefully come back soon!

Amazing displays and the rotating exhibits keep you coming back. The restaurant is top notch. The museum entrance fee is really high though, and there wasn't any discounts for dads on Father's day. Student ID gets you in a bit cheaper but be prepared to spend 20+ per person.

We brought our daughter. Not very kid friendly. One of the security guards asked me to take her off my shoulders for "safety" reasons. I did and then he didn't want her walking around on her own, and kept saying they have strollers downstairs. She screams when restrained in a stroller. Is perfectly comfortable on my shoulders. It just felt like they were trying to get us to leave because of our daughter. The art was awesome and the garden was fun. If you have kids check out the garden and gift shopthey are free to see.

Love this place! The one hour guided tour made a real difference in understanding the mind of Dali, and his works. Also recommend using the audio sets that give valuable details about each work of art. The staff is helpful, the gift shop is cool, and even the cafe has pretty good food.

Visited the Dali while attending a conference. This was fascinating and I highly recommend that you go through with a guide. Our group had a private tour which provided so much additional information. If I had just walked through on my own I definitely wouldn't have gotten as much from it.

Amazing museum. I was blown away by the collection the museum has. The building is beautiful. The audio tour is fantastic, download it on your phone, bring your own head phones and you can skip picking that equipment up when you get there. It seemed like a pricey entry price before going but after you definitely understand why and it's worth the price. The garden is very cool too.
