This place was great. Unfortunately, TGM just bought it from Tuscany and made living here totally inconvenient. They killed the Mediterranean style of the complex by removing all the statues and made it looks like almost abandoned. They also took off the online payment portal and convinced the tenants to pay the rent by checks or money orders! Definitely gonna move out :(

Terrible place to live. Endured an entire 12 month lease here. A/C is very old and inefficient, broken always, and a terrible thermostat. The windows are the cheapest and thinnest glass I have ever seen in my life. You can hear people talking right outside your unit. Kids are annoying little rodents, and you can hear them too. Dogs are always barking, too bad it's illegal to feed them poison. They charge us for pest control, although I have treated our apartment for ants and roaches multiple times. I'm so excited to finally buy a house, I hope everyone at TGM Palm Air dies in a fire.

We have stayed at the Tuscany for a year while looking for a condo to buy. Our unit has been very pleasant with a view over the lake, maintenance of both the unit and the grounds is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The back office is something else. We were told that they did not actually work by the lease document. Payment is always complex and confusing (cf FPL). And after the minimum 7-month lease we thought we had moved to a rolling 60 day notice only to find that the two month lease jerked from 60 to 120 days required notice which seems to offer no benefit to the management but was an expensive penalty for us.

My husband and I visited Tuscany apartments during an apartment browsing day. It was the first apartment we visited. At first glance it looked nice and had an old Italy feel. The fountains were beautiful and the grounds seem well maintained.

There are just a few reasons that will keep us from renting here. First we were nearly hit 3 times by residents bareling through their narrow lanes. Residents didn't even seem concerned they had nearly hit someone and continued to speed.
Second we were only shown a model, rather than their available units. Which is always a red flag when apartment complexes will only show their pristine model. The model was also in a very modern style which completely clashed with the rest of the Italian country Style everywhere else on the property. Hopefully they're not planning to redo most of their units in that style.
And third the leasing agent showing us the unit was completely false about what the price average was in the area during the summer off season. Even though we are local residents the leasing agent tried to convince us that we weren't in the "off season" and no other prices would ever compare to theirs. Was even argumentative and forceful when we politely declined an application.

I think the attitude and deceitfulness of the leasing agent was the most concerning and why we will not consider renting at Tuscany. All a customer expects is for the sales agent to be upfront, honest and straightforward. Unfortunately that they train their staff this way.

Spent a year here and loved the value compared to other apartments in the area. I wasn't expecting much from the outside since they looked kind like ugly box shaped dorms surrounded by pavement, but the units are spacious and they have nice court yards with landscaping and fountains. The perks are space, a nice 25 yard pool, another heated pool, gym, huge water heaters and lots of space. The staff is really nice too. It's not without its shortages though. There is no public wifi at the pool, there is only one grill and it often runs out of propane, the trash compactor breaks down once a month, and the parking situation can get a little competitive if you park late at night. Maintenance is good and they usually fix stuff asap. AC never went out. Overall it's a great value and I really enjoyed my stay here.
