What an awesome, clean, beautiful Park! I can't wait to go back and spend a week or more. We just lucked out and got a few days while we were traveling through. I suspect it is always booked. The hiking and the views are amazing. The campsites are spacious and level and not too close to the neighbors. We stayed on the west rim Campground which I hear is the better option. They also have some nice looking Yurts available to rent. And I think they have a few cabins in the East rim.

Probably the best State Park that I've visited in Georgia. There are several trails of varying lengths, meaning that there's a hike for everyone.

We visited only one of the Waterfalls (Hemlock Falls), but that was spectacular in itself. Our visit was in the first weekend of November, which is an excellent time to visit as Fall colours were peaking just then.

A huge shout-out to the park staff who do an excellent job of maintaining the trails! Trails were very clear and easy to follow.

Beautiful place. There is a $5 parking fee. The overlooks has beautiful views over the canyons. And the waterfalls a pretty. Believe them when they say the trail is strenuous. I had a hard time coming back up. Lots of stairs! We will definitely be back to do one of their longer trails.

Great park. Great views from the main overlook (very short, super easy walk) and the falls were great too! They are technically easy to get to, but a lot of up/down (there are stairs for a good portion of it) so you may need to take breathers. Definitely worth the hike down, though. Just save some energy for the climb back up.

Stayed at primitive campsites here in Cloudland very nice campsites and very beautiful place to come visit, lots of places to hike and even more beautiful views! Many Waterfalls just a few minutes away keep in mind the waterfalls are down the Canyon so it’s a lot of stairs to get down there but if your up for it it’s completely worth it! if your going to Georgia I’d highly recommend you check this place out! bathrooms and showers are very nice and well kept! lots to do and lots to see come check out this amazing place!

The trails were absolutely beautiful and I wish I could give this review 5 stars for that reason only. However, my family and I wanted to take a look at the inside of an unoccupied yurt, and a maintenance man that went by the name of Dan was extremely snarky and acted as if he owned the darn park. He was controlling and I couldn't believe how rude he was. Almost like he was in a power trip or something. Because of him we are NOT going to stay here in the future.

Gorgeous views! Great exercise! We do family picnics here and walk down into the canyon, enjoy the view, the waterfalls, and the atmosphere. We take hammocks and just chill for s little bit, we take our dog and get his exercise in. It's really a great place to go or meet. Haven't stayed there yet, but we're looking fittest to the opportunity sometime. We hike there and picnic at the park quite a bit. Always clean, always beatuiful.

I love roadtrips to visit states parks for all the country. Cloudland Canyon is one of my favorites in Georgia. The hiking trails was amazing views with the sound of many waterfalls and birds. The park have some, some stairs for a nice legs workout. Like others parks $5.00 dollar the entrance, have bathrooms, good parking lot, pet friendly, camping area, and visitor center, nice place to visit!

Great place with great hiking. I found out I don't like yurts, especially in the winter. That was the coldest night I’ve ever experienced. The canyon is amazing. Keep an eye on the kiddos though. There are some loooong drops. The waterfall is beautiful. Cloudland Canyon state park is a jewel in Georgia’s crown.

My husband took our family here so he could take pictures and we could hike. This was an awesome experience. The falls were beautiful and the stairs gave us a workout. Definitely a place worth the drive.

I took my 7th grade Earth Science class to Cloudland Canyon State Park to enhance our experiential learning. After discussing the geographic regions of Georgia in class, we spent a day at the state park with the park naturalist, Stephanie. She organized and led an excellent orienteering class, a hike to Cherokee Falls, and a tour of the interpretive cabin. Stephanie was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to many more visits to this beautiful and unique state park!

Free mountain bike excursions every Sunday, great gift shop Visitor Center, yurts, cabins, tent, and primitive camping. I LOVE their 2 BR cabins, one of my favorites. Close to Chattanooga. Friendly. Quiet. Some of the best views obtainable. Away from the noisy din of cities. 4g coverage is questionable. Might affect a working type getaway.

Clean, cheap, safe and quiet! Hike in sites are spaced apart from other campers so you're immersed in the forest for a REAL camping experience. There are sites for every camping with power and water. Bathroom facilities for both styles of camping available,(outhouses in backwoods). The hiking trail around the canyon is picturesque. Just a great campsite

Tent camping was wonderful here. They have a well managed campground and bathrooms that are very clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. Needless to say the park itself is absolutely beautiful and there are several trails with different levels of difficulty. I would highly recommend a Fall trip. When the leaves are changing, you'll find some breath taking views no matter what trail you're on.

This park has several amazing waterfalls, and many hiking options. Some trails include stairs with hundreds of steps. Swimming near certain waterfalls is prohibited (which doesn't stop people from doing it).

🎖My favorite place in Georgia! I enjoyed the waterfalls very much! The 5 mile hike is very eye enjoyable lots of water and a great place to go with a dog! I loved my camping trip it was very private I primitive camped here and loved loved it!

One of the most beautiful places in Georgia I've seen. Monumental canyon, waterfalls, creeks, wide plains - it's all there. The park has multiple trails for your choice: from light to above average difficulty. Definitely great place to visit.

The first time that my family I visited was great.
The last time was just ok. The reason why is because the host did not keep up the yurt area. The shower house was dirty the whole time we was there. We even emailed the park and reported this to them. They tried to make an excuse for why it was not kept clean. Stating that the "weekend was busy with the art festival." The art festival was over when we was there and only a few of the yurts were occupied. I'm really considering not going back to this park because of this. Especially for the price we paid per night. They acted like they did not care.

This place is rather remote (to Atlanta at least), but well worth the two hour travel time.

There are several campgrounds here but the main attraction are the short hikes to the waterfalls in the canyon. You start on top of the canyon, with amazing views to each of the falls. A ten to fifteen minute path brings you down to two of the three falls. The first of the falls has a large pool you can swim in, and walk behind. Besides being a little slippery, it's worth the adventure going behind the falls. Hemlock falls, the second, is similar.

There are several other two mile or so trails that go to other areas allowing for new viewpoints as well.
