Pretty cool adventure for sure. Honestly thought they were larger but still very cool to visit and read the stones. It is a nice peaceful drive and the area is quiet. Good times.

Very quick and easy stop right off the highway. Easy parking and plenty of space to walk around the stones. The story of how they got there is fascinating. I hope someday the motivations and identities of the group who commissioned these stones will be revealed. The speculation on those subjects is part of the fun of going. It has to be a planned destination as there is not much else to see out there. I've been wanting to see these stones for a while and I'm glad I did. It was worth a trip.

These are fun to take a detour and see if you’re on a nearby road trip. There is a gas station about a mile away with very clean bathrooms. There were lots of interesting, unique people, and it was more crowded than I expected. Maybe because it was winter solstice? I was there maybe 10 minutes. I wasn’t blown away, but I have wanted to see these for a while, and was glad I ventured from another trip rather than making a trip just to see them.

A must see for all interested. Location is conducive to reflection. Visited early weekday morning and there was no traffic on road or nearby highway. Not full solitude, but minimal distraction. No worries regarding security either, cameras are in place. This was to be a friends getaway, but though I ended up solo it was definitely an experience I plan to repeat. Can't wait to visit during a solar event.

These things are spooky as all get out. I totally loved it. Don't expect much though. There's no gift shop or tour guide. It's a 5 minute curiosity.

There are informative plaques on site, and you can get more information in town at the granite museum. If you like mysterious monuments, watch a few YouTube videos then come see these megaliths for yourself.

Interesting place, interesting history, regardless of whether you agree with the principles of those behind the creation of the monument. Located on the highest point in the county, it has a nice outlook.

I was so excited to see the guidestones on my recent trip to Georgia. I love to see landmarks with interesting stories behind them and the guidestones didn't disappoint. The stones are visible from the road, and you can drive right up to see them.

Because culling the population is a "good" things Someone tell Satan I read the book and he already lost. I read one that says less reproduction in number 2 is how this can also be accomplished although that has proven to be a flop in China where they now have a disproportionate elderly to youth rate and its reaking havoc on their economics and the care of the elderly I mean they will probably just start euthanizing the elderly anyway (not saying its right) So that theory doesn't work either.

This is a powerful place to visit. The stones are beautiful and insightful and surrounded by forestry. While there one March, my wife saw an owl "covered in moss, standing among trees", which she has never let me forget. I would strongly recommend a visit; the stones seem to put everything into perspective for those who are perceptive.

Worth the trip. These stones have mystery in them. There's a lot of theories to why R.C. Christian wanted these here. Some people off the bat think it's negative, but just do your research on the different theories. Everyone has their own opinion which is perfectly fine, and I respect. Just watch the History Channel about it. A lot of theorists think since it has a somewhat of an astrological structure, they say like the Mayans and other culture that something catastrophic may happen (Mayans thought the end of the world was coming in 2012) like a giant solar flare (Which NASA has been warning us about, our earth IS overdue for one), in which power grids go out, or worse we can loose our planet, or most of it. (Remember Ice Age and so on, where most of the animals and population were lost.) Well most theories go back to saying that this might be the "New Commandments" to those that do survive. How to maintain and take BETTER care of our earth. (One thing that stuck to me was "Be not a cancer to earth. For me I take it has stop polluting, stop littering, stop being an ass and take better care of your planet.) Worth the drive from Florida. Loved it and would definitely recommend it, and I hope people have more of an open mind.

It's like a tiny Stonehenge with engraved wisdom. Each message is repeated in multiple languages on the sides and top of the structure. Quiet area surrounded by fields, just off the paved road on a gravel drive, small gravel parking lot. Great place to stop and take pictures. Very unique.
